COVID-SAFE FUNDRAISING ...

NO PRESSURE FUNDRAISING

Lots of schools are excited to share a fun day and raise some vital extra funding. But given the current economic situation, they don't want to be 'FULL ON' with their fundraising... and we totally get that.👍

So, many of our schools have dropped all the class competitions etc and are just asking families to do what they can... and guess what?!

They are smashing it!

We have so many great CHASE STUDIES to share with you over the next month but let's start with this little stunner...

Holy Family Primary School completed their event in Term 2. They raised approx $23,000 ----- Which is a full $9,000 more than their 2019 event. Can you believe that!

What's cool here is that only 39% of their student body were active online fundraisers (110 out of 280). This reiterates the point that there is NO PRESSURE to fundraise, and only those that want to will.

Yep, 61% of families didn't take part in the fundraising and yet their COVID-19 event beat their PRE-COVID event. Amazing stuff.

Just goes to show that community is willing to support the kids they love and get behind a great cause. 🇦🇺👍

Our Fun Run families, will join plenty more right across the nation to raise heart rates and funds for Australian children living in poverty who are further disadvantaged by COVID-19.

Its all part of the inaugural Fun Run to be held on Friday, June 12.

Here’s how it works:

- Families register now at www.athomefunrun.com.au

- Fundraise happens online for The Smith Family till June 12. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

- The families then hold their own Backyard Obstacle Course Fun Runs between June 8 and 12.

- After their run, families share videos of their event to the page www.facebook.com/homefunrun and tag all their donors so people can see what they did.

Easy as that! Its great family fun and all for a worthy cause.
