🌊🚤 Our Kindergarten children put their thinking caps on for a fun sink-or-float challenge! 🧠✨

The children shaped aluminium foil into their very own boats and then started loading them up with LEGO blocks! 🛶🧱 One block at a time, they counted how many their boats could hold before… SPLASH! 💦😂

There were lots of predictions, counting, experimenting, and plenty of excitement as the children discovered that the shape of the boat and how the weight is spread out can make a big difference! ⚖️🔢

It was a simple experiment that turned into lots of fun, laughter, and discovery! 💙

🌋🧪 As part of National Science Week, our Kindy children have been busy becoming little scientists! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬🔬

The children experimented with baking soda and vinegar, making predictions, mixing the ingredients, and watching with excitement as they fizzed and bubbled! 🫧🥣✨

This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, observation, problem-solving, and early scientific thinking as the children explored what happens when different ingredients are combined. 🤔🧠

We love encouraging our little scientists to ask questions, make predictions, investigate, and discover how the world around them works! 🌱💡💛

Today is Lenny’s special day! 🎉🦎 We are celebrating our very special centre friend and giving Lenny all the love he deserves! 💚🥰

We absolutely love having Lenny here with us. He brings so much excitement and curiosity to our days, and our children have the wonderful opportunity to learn so much from watching, caring for, and spending time with him. 🌿👀🦎

🍋🥤Today, our Kindy B children became little chefs and scientists as they made real lemonade from scratch! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍋

With the help of our wonderful Chef Nicola, the children squeezed the fresh lemons, carefully extracted the juice, and helped mix the ingredients together to create their very own delicious lemonade. 🥤🍋👐

The children loved getting hands-on and exploring the sour taste of fresh lemon juice! 😝🍋 This experience encouraged them to use their senses, make predictions, share their observations, and learn about how different ingredients can be combined to create something new. 🧠👀👃👅✨

🦷✨We started the week strong with a special dental visit, giving the children the opportunity to meet dental professionals, learn about looking after their teeth and build confidence around visiting the dentist.

🪥😁Throughout the week, our children have continued exploring the importance of healthy teeth and good oral hygiene through a range of fun, hands-on experiences.
From learning about brushing our teeth and keeping our smiles clean, to exploring healthy foods, creative experiences, stories and conversations, the children have been developing their understanding of how we can care for our bodies and keep our teeth healthy. 🍎🥕🦷

It has been wonderful to see the children engaged, curious and enthusiastic as they learn about healthy habits in meaningful and age-appropriate ways.

🌿🐔 There’s something special about slowing down and connecting with nature. 💚
Our afternoons in the garden are a beautiful opportunity for children to pause, breathe and simply be.

From cuddling our friendly chickens 🐔 and listening to their gentle clucks, to finding a quiet spot to enjoy a book 📖, there are so many ways to connect with our garden.
The children love exploring our growing spaces, checking on the plants, noticing new growth and watching our vegetables change each day. 🌱🥕🥬

These unhurried moments encourage children to develop a sense of belonging, care and responsibility for the living things around them, while also creating a peaceful space to relax, reconnect and support their wellbeing.
Sometimes the best learning happens when we simply slow down, get our hands in the garden and enjoy being together. 🌿💚

Today, Dental 2 You visited our service and shared such valuable knowledge with our children! 🦷✨
The children had a wonderful time learning about the importance of healthy eating and how the foods we choose can help keep our teeth strong and happy. They also explored the correct ways to brush their teeth and why daily oral care is so important. To finish off the experience, each child had the opportunity to have their teeth checked, which was a fantastic and positive introduction to dental care. 😊
