Term 2 RiSE Event

How lucky our students are to have such accomplished and passionate professionals within our CAC community. During Week 7, 20 parents volunteered their time to speak with Year 11 and 12 students in a CAC first “Career Carousel”. Students had the chance to ask burning questions of industry professionals to gain personal insights into the pathways and experience of working in those careers. Our students came away buzzing with excitement about their futures. Some students went in with clear ideas on possible career paths and others went in curious. All came away inspired!

Thank you again to our wonderful parent community who came out for this event. An extra thanks to the 4 panellists who fielded both planned (and unplanned) questions from our excited student interviewers.

Daisy is looking very professional with her new haircut, lanyard and key card, because even our 4-legged staff need to be recognisable!

At Coomera Anglican College, we celebrate the incredible women who shape, guide and inspire our Community every day in honour of International Women's Day 💜

Across classrooms, offices, the library and learning spaces, the women of CAC nurture curiosity, champion potential and help our students grow into confident young people ready to make their mark on the world.

To the teachers and staff who lead with passion, care and dedication, thank you for the countless ways you support and empower those around you. Your influence extends far beyond the classroom and is deeply valued by our College Community.

Fairies and footballers filled our Prep classrooms as students celebrated the letter F! 🧚‍♀️🏈

Dressed in their fantastic outfits, students enjoyed exploring the sound and shape of the letter F through imagination, play and creativity.

From fluttering fairy wings to future football stars, it was a joyful way to bring learning to life. To finish the festivities, students enjoyed a classic favourite, fairy bread, because it starts with F too!

Our Wellbeing Centre was transformed into a calm and reflective Prayer Space, led by Sue Allison, who joined us from Melbourne. ✨

A Prayer Space invites students to pause and consider the big questions of life and faith through simple, meaningful activities. Throughout the day, students engaged in moments of stillness, mindful breathing, writing, drawing, and reflections on gratitude, hope, forgiveness and kindness.

Designed to be inclusive, gentle and welcoming, the experience supported both spiritual and emotional wellbeing, giving our students time and space to simply pause, breathe and reflect.
