20 YEARS OF PLAYSCHOOL KINDERGARTEN

26 September 2006, Carl and Kelli Lowe proudly became the owners and operators of Playschool Kindergarten. With our four young children growing up alongside us, Playschool quickly became our home away from home, so much more than just our workplace.

Today, 20 years later, we are incredibly proud to celebrate two decades of caring for, educating and nurturing children and families in our local community. And what makes this milestone even more special is that two of our own children are now working helping to manage and carry on the Playschool legacy.

Built in 1992, Playschool has been a special part of the Elanora community for generations. The little children who walked through our doors in those early years are now in their 20s and throughout our 20 years of ownership, we have had the privilege of educating and caring for more than 2,000 children.

But our greatest achievement isn't simply the number of children we have taught. It is the relationships,trust and connections we have built with the families who have shared this journey with us.

We are incredibly proud to still be here, still independently owned and operated and still passionate about providing children with the foundation of play and learning giving the best possible start to their educational journey.

20 years. Over 2,000 children. Generations of families. Countless memories.

What an incredible milestone for our little Kindy. 💕🌿

We’ve been busy exploring our community and environment, discovering new places, learning about the world around us and building connections within our local community.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate Child Protection Week, an incredibly important week that helps us empower children with the knowledge and confidence to keep themselves safe.

Throughout the week, we explored age-appropriate conversations and experiences around personal safety, personal boundaries, road safety, dog safety, water safety and so much more.

These conversations help children understand that their bodies belong to them, that they have the right to feel safe and that they can always speak up and ask a trusted adult for help.

Through play, stories, discussions and hands-on experiences, we’re helping our children develop the confidence, awareness and skills they need to navigate their world safely.

Because when children feel safe, heard, respected and empowered they can thrive

Our Mibunns went off to Beach Kindy where they explored Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre | Gold Coast • Australia , spotting the animals in Yugambeh Language, seeing a real life fish trap after learning about them in the classroom and admiring the beautiful Aboriginal artwork. Then we went on a walk around the headland where we followed the story of Jabreen. After the children enjoyed free play at the beach and a beach picnic for lunch.

While on holiday in Vanuatu, Miss Kelli and Miss Britta went to visit a local Kindy and school. They were able to play with the children, spent some time singing and sharing learning and ideas with the teachers.
