🪂🎉Harmony Week runs from 16 to 22 March. It’s a great time to get the children involved and use teamwork to play some fun parachute games. Children of all ages can join in. The games build strength, coordination and cooperation.

🎶🎼Try making popular shapes like waves or a mushroom. Children can also form a merry-go-round by holding the parachute with one hand and moving in one direction until the music stops.

☑️ If you don’t have a parachute, you can use a large sheet or blanket.

Each week our children enjoy a wonderful music and Auslan (Australian Sign Language) incursion, where they learn to communicate, express themselves and explore rhythm through fun and interactive experiences.

Music combined with Auslan supports children to:

🎵 Build confidence and social connections
🤟 Strengthen memory, listening and coordination
🎵 Experience inclusive ways of communicating with others
