Compass: S40 Gangs and God 04/06/2026

Just watched this and had to share.

In a recent conversation with Lucky Te Koha about what a “rebuilt man” truly is, his response gave me goosebumps:

“A rebuilt man is when all the pieces of a broken boy are healed.”

If you have time, I’d encourage you to watch the ABC documentary — it’s a powerful and thought-provoking conversation.

She Rises - Winter Retreat | Sept 2026 Gold Coast | The Rebuilt Movement 04/06/2026

A woman in transition is not lost. She is becoming.

There is a season between who you were and who you are meant to be. It doesn't always feel beautiful. It can feel uncertain. Heavy. Lonely. Like you're standing in the middle of a story that hasn't found its next line yet.

But here's what I know to be true — transformation doesn't happen in the highlight reel. It happens in the hidden places.

The butterfly doesn't fight the chrysalis. She surrenders to it. And what looks like stillness from the outside is actually the most profound becoming happening within.

That closed door? It's redirecting you.

That hard season? It's equipping you.

That version of yourself you've outgrown? - She was never the destination.

You are not who you were. You are not yet who you will be. But right now, in this very moment — you are exactly where growth happens.

So if you've been waiting for permission to pause, to breathe, to stop performing and start healing — this is it.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to rise.

That's exactly why She Rises Winter Retreat exists.

This September on the Gold Coast, I'm bringing together a gathering of women who are done shrinking and ready to step fully into their next chapter — women navigating change, healing from what was, and building clarity for what's coming.

This is your weekend to pause with intention. To reconnect with yourself. To be surrounded by women who get it — because they're in it too.

Theme- Women in Transition

She Rises Winter Retreat
📅 4–6 September
🕖 Friday 7:00 PM – Sunday 12:00 PM
📍 Gold Coast (venue coming soon)

Your next chapter isn't waiting for a different version of you.

It's waiting for the woman you're becoming right now.

One brave step. That's all it takes.

Will you transition & rise? 👇RSVP

Spots Limited for intimacy ❤️

Learn What Emotionally Healthy Men Do Differently

Emotional health in men isn’t about being soft.

It’s about being grounded, aware, and responsible with who you are and how you show up in the world.

Healthy men don’t try to win every moment — they learn from it.

Here’s what emotionally healthy men do differently:

They pause before reacting, instead of exploding or shutting down
They take ownership instead of blaming
They can sit with discomfort without escaping it
They communicate clearly, even when it’s hard
They don’t avoid emotions — they understand them
They choose growth over ego
They know when to step up, and when to step back

Emotionally healthy men aren’t perfect.
They’re aware.
And awareness changes everything.

Because a man who can face himself…
can lead his life differently.

We’re currently gathering voices and stories for The Rebuilt Man Project — a new book exploring real experiences of men, growth, struggle, and transformation.

If you have a story, reflection, or insight to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Arriving in Samoa was more than a trip — it was a reminder of why this work matters.

I had the privilege of taking the Rebuilt Woman to visit the incredible team at Victim Support Apia and sitting with people who are on the frontlines of care, advocacy, and protection for women and families impacted by domestic violence.

What I witnessed was both confronting and deeply human — stories of resilience, pain, survival, and courage. Behind every statistic is a real person, a mother, a daughter, a life that matters.

In Samoa, where the population is just over 200,000 people, local reports and conversations shared with me highlighted a deeply concerning reality — an estimated 4,000 women are currently on domestic violence support case loads. Whether that number is exact or indicative, it reflects something undeniable: the level of need is significant, and support services are under real pressure.

But I also saw hope.

I saw dedicated workers who refuse to give up.
I saw community-led care.
I saw compassion in action.

And I was reminded that change doesn’t just come from systems — it comes from people who are willing to show up, listen, and stand in the gap.

This visit strengthened my commitment to continue the work of healing, advocacy, and rebuilding lives through “The Rebuilt Woman” and beyond.

To the team at Victim Support Samoa — thank you for the sacred work you do. You are holding space for what many cannot carry alone.

💛 May every voice be heard.
💛 May every woman be safe.
💛 May healing continue to rise across the islands.

I’m opening up a new project called The Rebuilt Man.

A collection of men’s stories on breakdown, truth, and transformation.

This isn’t just a book — it’s a collection of real stories from men who are willing to speak honestly about their journey of rebuilding.

We’re exploring the deeper layers of men’s lives — childhood experiences, relationships, identity struggles, emotional growth, and what it actually looks like to rebuild your life from the inside out.

Alongside this, there is also a research and case study component, designed to better understand the patterns that shape men’s behaviour and the challenges they carry.

For those who feel called, there is also an opportunity to be featured in The Rebuilt Man anthology as a published contributor, sharing your story in a collective work focused on truth, responsibility, and transformation.

We are also welcoming a small number of sponsors who want to support this movement and be aligned with the message of rebuilding men and strengthening families.

If this resonates with you, you can find more information or apply through the link below.

This is about creating space for truth, accountability, and rebuilding — not perfection.

Because when men rebuild, everything around them begins to change.

🤍 Men Wanted – Share Your Story. Change Lives.

I'm currently gathering stories and insights from men for an upcoming book and movement called The Rebuilt Man.

This project is designed to give men a voice—to explore the realities of childhood experiences, relationships, resilience, personal growth, healing, leadership, and what it truly means to rebuild after life's challenges.

Whether you've overcome adversity, learned valuable lessons through hardship, or have wisdom that could help the next generation of men, I'd love to hear from you.

Your story could inspire hope, healing, and transformation for others walking a similar path.

If this resonates with you, learn more and register your interest here:

Please feel free to share this with men in your network who have a story worth telling.

7 Signs You’re Healing From Trauma (Even If It Doesn’t Feel Like It)

Healing doesn’t always feel peaceful at the start.
Sometimes it feels like confusion, tiredness, or even emotional numbness.

But here’s the truth — healing is often happening quietly beneath what you can see.

You may be healing if:

You react slower than you used to
You’re noticing patterns you once ignored
You’re questioning what used to feel “normal”
You’re no longer able to stay in what hurts you
Your body is asking for rest instead of survival
You feel more emotions (even the uncomfortable ones)
You’re starting to choose yourself, even in small ways

Healing isn’t always pretty.
It’s not always loud.
And it doesn’t always feel like progress.

But awareness is progress.
Boundaries are progress.
Even exhaustion from change is progress.

You’re not going backwards.
You’re becoming someone who can no longer live from survival.

That’s healing.

If this spoke to you, save it for the days you doubt your growth.
And send it to someone who needs to hear it today.
