💚🏃 Junior Athletics Carnival was a blast! Our Prep to Year 3 students took to the field for a day of running, jumping, throwing and plenty of cheering! From determined faces at the starting line to big smiles at the finish, we loved seeing our youngest students have a go, encourage their friends and celebrate each other’s efforts.
A special thank you to our families who joined the fun and our Primary student leaders who supported the events. It was a wonderful celebration of participation, perseverance and our Graceview community! 🌟💚

Leadership grows when students use what they have learned to help someone else grow.

Over four weeks, our Senior Boys Basketball Team stepped into the role of coach, helping Primary students build their skills, confidence and love of the game.

For many of our senior students, the experience was especially meaningful because they remembered being the younger student once themselves.

Year 10 student Arlyn said he wanted to become “someone that little me would look up to and strive to be like.”

That is leadership in action: encouraging others, sharing what you know and using your gifts to contribute to the lives of those coming behind you.

We 💙 science! Learning to ask good questions, investigate ideas, work with evidence and solve problems develops skills that matter in the laboratory and throughout life. Science helps our students become curious, capable thinkers who are ready to keep learning and take on new challenges.

Every student gets the opportunity to lead. ✨ Each week, different year levels in Primary and Secondary take responsibility for leading our Chapel services. Students lead worship and prayer, run icebreakers, introduce guest speakers and encourage our school community in faith. With one class in each year level, every student gets to be involved. Leading Chapel is one of the ways our students develop confidence and leadership skills for life. ✨

When we asked our students what our school feels like to them, Natalie said, “I feel safe.” That means a lot to us. 💙 When students feel safe, they are more ready to ask questions, give things a try, build friendships and grow in confidence. Children and young people learn best when they feel known, cared for and supported. 💙 At Graceview, kindness matters, relationships are nurtured and faith helps shape the way we care for one another.

🏃 Running for Freedom 🏃 Our Graceview community came together for the Stop Trafficking 5K, raising more than $8,500 to support 's work helping protect children and women vulnerable to human trafficking.

“I care about it because I believe that we can all give back where we can, where we're able. Put yourself in a position where you can understand the stories of those who have struggled so much in their lives and have no way out. If you just see that and remember that what you have now is like a dream for them, then it helps you to understand that I have to give what I can.” - Alex, Year 11

📚 We love Literacy & Numeracy Week! It was a great week of learning, creativity and fun, as students explored literacy and numeracy in different ways, finishing with our much-loved Book Parade! We loved seeing our campus filled with favourite characters, creative costumes and excited readers! 📖✨

🎶 Serving Through Music 🎶 Graceview students brought their musical gifts to Melody Park Adventist Residential Care for a special morning with residents and staff.

“Melody Park was really fun and I loved meeting the people there. They were really kind, and I think it makes them feel nice to hear music and to have the students come and talk to them.” - Ava, Year 5

At Graceview, service is an important part of how our students express their Christian faith. Experiences like these help shape who they are becoming and show them how their gifts can bring joy and make a meaningful difference.

Forensic investigations, electricity, magnetism, rat dissections and more! Science Week takes our Primary students beyond their regular science learning and into the Secondary science lab to wonder, test and discover.

Our Secondary students led as experiment leaders and mentors, putting their own knowledge into practice while encouraging our younger learners.

Service To Others Really Matters. 🌱 For 11 years, Graceview students have travelled to Texas, Queensland, serving, learning and building connections with the local community.
