Greenstone Karate

Please join me in congratulating my students on making the Greenstone Karate 2026 Queensland Team! 👏💚

These guys will be representing Greenstone Karate at the upcoming KIKO Kyokushin Karate Tournament in Sydney this November! 🇦🇺

To say we’re excited is an understatement! We’re absolutely loving the journey so far, and we’re only just getting started…🦾

There’s plenty of hard work and preparation ahead, but that’s all part of it. It’s not just about the tournament itself, it’s about the journey, the challenges, the friendships and the memories we make along the way.

Super proud of these guys for stepping up and taking on this challenge! Can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring!

A special shout out to Denton for jumping on board and assisting me with coaching and preparing our fighters. Really appreciate your support.👊

Sydney…here we come! 👊🔥

Today we held our first Greenstone Karate 20 Round Kumite for the kids and 40 Round Kumite (sparring event) for the adults and it definitely won’t be our last!🥋

A huge thank you to all our parents, students and instructors, and especially Nikole for helping me organise everything and making today happen. ❤️

It was fun, but it was also a real physical and mental test. I saw so much growth in our students today. A few tears and emotions…but still pushed through when they were tired, kept going when it got tough and showed some real resilience.

That’s what days like this are all about. Kids and adults both need to learn that sometimes you won’t feel like doing something, but you do it anyway. That’s where the growth happens.

Super proud of everyone who stepped on the training mat today.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

For the school holidays, we bring everyone together for a combined kids and adults class and what a great session it was! Lots of rounds, lots of conditioning and plenty of laughs. 👊🔥

It was awesome to have Senpai Masao join us for training. A strong Karateka with great spirit and, more importantly, a beautiful human being. 🙏

There’s something special about having our kids and adults all sharing the mats, training hard and enjoying Karate together.

Already looking forward to Friday night’s class!

A huge thank you to my great friend Sensei Rob from Kyokushin Karate Gold Coast for joining us as our special guest. 🙏

Sensei Rob is a former Kyokushin fighting champion, an outstanding Karateka and a great mate. It was an absolute pleasure having him on the mats sharing his knowledge and experience with our students.

It was also really special to see him training alongside his granddaughter Gabby three generations of Karate spirit in the Dojo.🥋❤️

Such a fun night of training. The students and I absolutely loved it! 💯
