Due to the ever increasing bullying and violence occurring in schools these days, many parents/ caregivers are turning toward homeschooling as an option for their children to gain a quality education in a safe secure and supportive environment.

A 14-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after a stabbing at a school in Brisbane's south-west. He was stabbed in the chest with a knife. It is the second stabbing in a week in Brisbane's schools.
