NAIDOC Celebration with Wulguru State School 🪃🏠

JTA staff were privileged to be welcomed back for the 3rd year in a row to Wulguru State School to be a part of their NAIDOC Celebration Day. 🖤💛❤️

The morning started with an assembly together, which was filled with dancing and performances from classrooms and Shaloms indigenous dance group. We then split into rotations to which JTA staff did a trivia with each group and made bracelets. Together we learned about NAIDOC and the different cultures. We finished each group with them placing a hand print on the canvas, which will be hung up in the JTA office.
🤍💙💚🖤

NAIDOC Celebration Lunch with Staying on Track.

JTA staff were privileged to join Staying on Track for their NAIDOC celebrations and visit their new space. It was wonderful to learn more about the services they provide and see some of our past participants continuing their journey of growth and self belief.

The afternoon was filled with culture connection food stories music basketball and artwork. Thank you to Staying on Track for having us and creating such a welcoming space.
