THE boss is on the list. 🔥
JT just landed at #18 on the Courier-Mail’s 50 Most Powerful People in Queensland Sport. Cowboys board, Maroons coaching staff, Channel Nine, AND running an Academy for young Australians.
Someone’s been busy. 👀
But if you ask JT, the real highlight reel isn’t on the field or the TV screen — it’s the kids finding their confidence, their culture, and their path forward.
Proud to call him the boss. 👏

The annual Cairns Edor Carnival 🏃🏽♀️ 🏃🏽♂️
A proud initiative designed and created by Harbrow Mentoring and Our Future Mentors. The Cairns Edor Carnival was ignited in 2022, and has continued to grow each year into one of the most anticipated events for young people and families across Far North Queensland 🔆🔆🔆
Edor, a fun running and tagging game that has been played throughout Far North Queensland for centuries, is much more than a game. It brings children, families and communities together while celebrating culture, connection, teamwork whilst having a whole heap of FUN.
Over the years, the Carnival has developed into a platform for strong partnerships, exciting collaborations and investment by community organisations who come together to support an amazing annual event tailored for our young people.
A huge thank you to Cairns Regional Council for their ongoing support of the Cairns Edor Carnival. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our annual sponsors, Gold Coast Suns and Kylie Young Consultancy, whose commitment helps make this event possible.
We are excited to announce and welcome Aspire Cairns Community Limited as new sponsor and event facilitation support. Thank you for jumping on board and becoming part of the Edor Carnival journey.

The Zenadth Kes/Torres Strait Islander flag was designed by the late Bernard Namok of Waiben/Thursday Island.
The flag was recognised by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission in June 1992 and has had equal prominence with the Aboriginal flag for more than 30 years as an official flag of Australia under Commonwealth legislation.
The meaning of the Torres Strait Islander flag is represented through:
🟩 Green: Land
🟦 Blue: Sea
⬜ White: Peace
⬛ Black: The Torres Strait Islander peoples
At the centre of the Torres Strait Islander flag is a dhari (headdress) that represents the Torres Strait Islander peoples, and a five-pointed star that represents the five major island groups, and the role of navigation in this sea-faring culture.
