Coming to the end of an intensive 10-days , the teams were ready to pitch to our judges Kelvin Ross, Emma Whitty and Brent Richards last SundayđŸŽ€. It was a difficult decision, given the exceptional display of talent. Will make humans redundant? With this provocative topic, we started the 2nd weekend of yesterday. An action-packed day left us inspired by Dinesh Palipana OAM's story, we were introduced to by Brent Lauder and learned how to design AI solutions with Sonya Close-DeBais. Our sponsor Datarwe shared how it feels to work as a and our participants experienced how their future could look like speed dating an employer!

The sessions today had a big focus on with Susie Jones and Brad Weeks to help participants pull together the final aspects of their pitch for tomorrow. Llew Jury added his valuable touch by giving us tips on . Super excited to see the solutions that our participants have come up with!

Dinesh was the first quadriplegic medical intern in Queensland, and the second person to graduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Griffith University with quadriplegia in Australia.
Dinesh is currently a resident medical officer at the Gold Coast University Hospital - GCUH. He is a lecturer at Griffith University and an adjunct research fellow at the Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University. He has research interests in , particularly with novel rehabilitation techniques. He is a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, advisory council at Griffith University, the Ambassador Council at The Hopkins Centre and an ambassador for Physical Disability Australia Ltd (PDA). He is also a doctor for the Gold Coast Titans physical disability rugby team.
