At Creative Garden, we believe that the education of children in their early years is most effective when learning through play. Pre Kindy - 3 years to 4 years.

Welcome to Creative Garden Early Learning Centre Coombabah! Our centre operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm and provides quality long day care and education for children from birth to twelve years. During school terms before and after school care is run for children aged 5 – 12 years. The out of school care hours operate from 6:30AM to 8:30AM (Before school care)and 3:30PM to 6:30PM (After school care),

Monday-Friday. During the School Holidays, the centre provides vacation care from open to close: 6:30AM – 6:30PM. In addition to our quality care and education programs, the centre provides three main nutritional meals a day including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Our large, natural outdoor areas are the perfect environment to encourage our children to explore and adventure as well as maintain a healthy active life style. Creative Garden Coombabah also provides a courtesy bus that is available for families/carers whom may need transportation due to a number of reasons, free of charge*. Our Centre has seven unique rooms, set up to let your child explore and learn to their best ability. These rooms include:

Nursery - Birth to 15 months. Toddlers - 15 months to 2 years. Senior Toddlers- 2 years to 2.5 years. Junior Kindy -2.5 years to 3 years. Kindy - 4 years to 5 years. OSHC / VAC CARE - 5 years to 12 years. We believe that the first year of a your child's life are some of the most important, there for every day should be an adventure and fun whilst preparing your children for school and giving them the best start in their educational life. We believe that your child requires individual attention and we aim to develop your child’s unique skills and abilities. We believe in looking after and caring for your children as well as you do. Our experienced, long standing team of dedicated educators ensure that the high quality of care is not only maintained but always improving and growing. We provide Structured Learning Programs for children from birth to 6 years. We are proud to have a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten program supported by a Bachelor qualified teacher. Spotlight on our Kindergarten Class

Learning through Play... Planning and constructing a "K-pop Demon Hunters Castle"

This activity supported the children’s development across multiple learning areas, Role Play & Understanding Real-World Jobs, wearing vests and helmets helped children learn about the responsibilities and safety requirements of builders while engaging in imaginative play scenarios.

The children used Creativity & Imagination by incorporating their interest in K-pop Demon Hunters into their chosen construction, a "K-pop Demon Hunters" Castle.

They used Problem-Solving skills & Engineering as they built towers, bridges, and constructed their “castle,” children experimented with balance, height, and stability. They displayed Social & Communication Skills through collaboration, conversation, and shared imaginative ideas, practicing turn-taking, negotiation, and expressive language.

Throughout 2025 Our Junior Kindy Class has been learning about "The Life Cycle of a Butterfly" this has been a continued interest for our Junior Kindy 2-3 years children and has lead to our class now introducing Caterpillars to care for in their room, each day the children feed the Caterpillars sweet potato leaves and discuss the changes in the caterpillars, some change colour, some have stopped moving and begun turning into cocoons... watch this space to see when how long it takes for our new pets to turn into Beautiful Butterflies
