For the third year in a row, our service has been selected to participate in the South East Region NAIDOC Exhibition, showcasing the meaningful ways we embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our classrooms, learning environments, and curriculum.
This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering children's understanding, respect, and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contributions. Through authentic learning experiences, cultural connections, storytelling, art, music, language, and community engagement, we strive to create an inclusive environment where children develop a strong sense of belonging and respect for Australia's First Nations Peoples.
We are incredibly proud of our educators, children, and families who contribute to this journey each day. Their curiosity, creativity, and willingness to engage in meaningful conversations and experiences have helped bring our vision to life.
This year, we are especially honoured to have also been invited to attend the NAIDOC Awards Ceremony. This invitation is a wonderful acknowledgement of the dedication and passion our team demonstrates in embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in authentic and respectful ways.
We look forward to celebrating alongside other services and community members while continuing our commitment to building culturally responsive learning environments that inspire children to value diversity, connection, and reconciliation.
