We would like to thank all our parents, carers and volunteers for your wonderful support throughout the term. Your time, effort and involvement help make our school community such a great place for our children.

P&C have decided to skip the P&C meeting tonight. Last week of Term 3 so we can all relax and recharge for next terms Benowa Carols planning. We will have two meetings in the first month back. First meeting will be rescheduled to Wednesday 7th October. Second meeting will fall on Wednesday 28th October. Look forward to seeing you there.

📢 Father's Day Raffle Update

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, there will be a slight delay in drawing our Father's Day Raffle.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience. The raffle will now be drawn next week. We will share some more information on the amazing prizes to be won over the weekend.

Our school community has always shown incredible kindness when one of our own needs support, and today we're reaching out on behalf of a local family facing an unimaginable challenge.

Benowa State School mum, Jacinta Rogers, whose two children attend our school, is currently battling Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Jacinta's cancer is extremely aggressive, and her family is navigating an incredibly difficult time.

An urgent fundraiser, "Canapés for a Cause – Help Jacinta," is being held this week to help raise funds for Jacinta's treatment.

The organisers are seeking support from our wider school community through:
✨ Sponsorship contributions
✨ Donations of raffle prizes or family hampers
✨ Support from local businesses
✨ Sharing this fundraiser with friends, family and colleagues

No contribution is too small. Every donation, sponsorship, or share helps provide much-needed support and hope for Jacinta and her children.

Thursday is shaping up to be an incredible day!

Start the morning by celebrating the amazing dads, grandads and father figures in our lives at our Father's Day BBQ Breakfast. If you haven't already, be sure to grab your tickets. We can't wait to see you there!

The excitement continues with Dad's Read, where our special guests will creating wonderful memories with our students.

Then, to finish off an action-packed day, it's time for our Fun Run! Get ready for plenty of energy, enthusiasm and fun as we come together for this fantastic event.
