Today along with millions of children and adults across Australia we gathered for National Simultaneous Storytime and all read the same book at the same time!
The book was “Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller”, it shares a message of perseverance and teamwork. Our children extended on this theme through testing their soccer/ football skills, creating art and role playing the story.

One of our favourite Kindy Events is CrAzY Hair Day, and today we embraced all the colours and fun of the day while helping to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation 🌈 Everyone looked incredible!!!!

What a milestone- Ashmore Community Children’s Centre turned 40 today!! ♥️
To celebrate we turned back the clock and had an 80’s themed day of partying 🥳
We played retro party games, ate retro party food and danced the whole day to a soundtrack of 80’s classic tunes!!
What an incredible history ACCC has had over the past 40 years….. as a Staff Team we are so proud to be a part of it and look forward to many, many more years of fun while supporting the littlest members of our Community to grow, develop and become their best selves!! ♥️

Yesterday we had a very special visit from Uncle Boomerang. These visits are incredibly important to us as they help build a genuine connection to the land we live on and to the rich culture of Australia’s First Nations peoples.
Through storytelling, music and the exploration of meaningful artefacts, the children were immersed in authentic and engaging learning about Aboriginal culture and history. Uncle Boomerang shared knowledge; sparking curiosity, conversation and connection.

What an exciting morning at Kindy - we had a visit from the Dentist and the Keep Your Smile Program! The children loved learning about the tools the Dentist uses and how to brush their teeth properly- helping to keep them healthy and strong.

We are thrilled to introduce the latest member of the ACCC Family- Miss Amy’s beautiful baby boy “Mac” 💙
Huge congratulations to Amy, Levi and Big Sister Noelle 💙

Today we farewell our beautiful Miss Amy as she begins Parental Leave; soon to welcome the newest member of the ACCC Family 👶🏻💙
We will miss her greatly, but are so excited to meet this little man who is already surrounded by so much love 👶🏻💙
