Y Family Day Care

For the past few months I have been posting goodbye messages to the Y Family Day Care Educator team as they transition to their new Approved Providers. Those posts got harder and harder to write each week. Now I find myself posting my final message. This one is by far the most difficult.

This week I am saying thank you to the Y Family Day Care office team. I don't have the words to adequately express just how amazing each of these ladies are and how much I value every one of them. I will miss so much about each of you - your smiling faces, supportive words and wicked senses of humour to name only a few. Thank you for being a team I am proud to have been a part of and, more importantly, for being my friends. # #

Every week since the beginning of March I have posted goodbye messages to Educators moving onto their new Approved Providers or their next exciting adventure. This week is by far the most difficult because it is the last.

This week we are saying our final goodbye and wrapping our arms around Monique, G*i and Triscina to give them a warm hug of thanks and wishes for only the best future possible xx

This week four Educators are moving onto new adventures with another Approved Provider. We are saying a huge thank you and a teary goodbye to Linda, Urmi, Jodie and Shaneal. We know that you will continue to provide only the best care and education a family could hope for.

Another week of sad goodbyes as we say thank you and best wishes to Irina, Kristal, Kylie, Shakila, Qian, Maureen, Akane, Michelle and Sue. We know, without any doubt, that your new Approved Providers will be constantly amazed and inspired by your practices, as we have been for so many years.

This week is particularly difficult for one Educator, Michelle, who would have been celebrating her 30 year anniversay with the Y this year. We are so sorry Michelle that we now won't be able to showcase your amazing achievement. Even though there won't be a party that doesn't take away the years and years of care, education and love that you have provided to literally hundreds of children - thank you xx

Today we say farewell to Michelle Clifford who has been with Y Family Day Care and In Home Care for 16 years. In her time here at the Y Michelle has formed many beautiful connections with Educators, families and the wider community. Michelle we thank you not only for your years of service but for your passion and dedication to family day care 💕
We wish you all the best for your future adventures xx

This week we are saying a teary goodbye to Kylee, Aideen, Salli, Kristie, Yan, Fiona, Natasha, Kim, Tracy and Monique.

We cannot thank you enough for your genuine love of early childhood education and your neverending commitment to inspiring young people. We know that if you're moving to a new Approved Provider they will value your practice as much as we do and if you're off on a new adventure we wish you only success.

This week we celebrate National Family Day Care Week and all family day care Educators for the very important roles they play in educating, nurturing and supporting the overall wellbeing of children and their families 🌟

During April three Educators celebrated their Y Family Day Care anniversaries. Natasha has been inspiring young people for eight years and Monique and G*i have achieved an amazing TWENTY-THREE years with the Y. Thank you for all that you do - you are truly valued.

We find ourselves at another Friday filled with sad goodbyes and genuine thank yous. Today Jay (one year), Faye (one year), Rebecca (one year), Imogen (two years), Rajani (seven years) and Suji (12 years) leave the Y Family Day Care for their new adventures.

Some are continuing their Family Day Care journeys with new Approved Providers and some are branching out to new endeavours. Regardless of your future plans we wish you only the very best now and always.

This week we wave goodbye and say a heartfelt thank you to six Educators - Audrey (one year), Cassie (one year), Leanne (two years), Jacinta (three years), Samu (15 years) and Leonie (23 years).

These messages certainly aren't getting any easier to write but our sentaments are as strong as ever. We wish nothing but the absolute best for all Educators making the exciting move to a new Approved Provider. We are sure your new services will value your genuine passion for inspiring young people as much as we do.

Today we say good bye to one of our office administrators Kerri. Kerri has been with the Y Family Day Care for 14 years and has been a huge part of the Y journey. Kerri we thank you for all your years of service and for being an integral part of the Y.
