L&D creators - ChatGPT 5.5 (Thinking model) is now your one-stop content creation partner... In just a few short months, it's gone from providing a list of dot points that you can use to create your presentation, to an all inclusive PPT generator - complete with fresh image generation and presenter notes.
What I was using Gamma.ai and NotebookLM for just a month ago - is now no longer necessary. The fact that it generates a completely editable PPT file, makes this the one to beat.
I've generated my last 6 slide decks using this tool now, and the time savings and quality are right up there.
BUT - before the AI hate comes flying...
It is a tool, not a substitute. I think knowing what makes a good presentation: content, flow, activities and even handouts, allows me (or any competent L&D pro) to prompt for the best outcomes. Just saves hours and honestly, creates a really visually appealing result in just minutes.

WHY YOUR TAE PROVIDER CHOICE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK
After many years working within the VET sector — including seven years with SpecTraining — I still regularly speak with students who have been let down by poor provider practices.
A TAE qualification is far more than simply enrolling into a course. It forms the foundation of your professional credibility as a Trainer and Assessor and plays an important role in workplace capability, compliance, and training quality.
Before enrolling with any provider, it is worth taking the time to check:
• The RTO is current and approved on ASQA’s scope
• Results are reported correctly and promptly to the USI registry
• Trainers hold current qualifications and genuine industry currency
• Assessment practices are compliant, rigorous, and defensible
• Certification timeframes are clearly communicated
Choosing the right provider can significantly influence your professional reputation, future career opportunities, and confidence moving forward within the VET sector.
