Interesting session with a student today. We were working on giving instructions relating to directions. It seemed to be really hard until I realised that the student did not understand that left and right moves depending on where you are facing. Look at the window, find left and right then when you turn towards the wall, left and right is different. No wonder it was hard! I love finding the misconceptions and untangling them with the student.

Here is video 4 of how to learn tricky words games. You just need 4 copies of each word in a card to play. One set of cards, you can play all 4 games. Here is my version of the stealing game for tricky words - this one is a student favourite. I love that the winner isn't decided until the last card.
