Interesting session with a student today. We were working on giving instructions relating to directions. It seemed to be really hard until I realised that the student did not understand that left and right moves depending on where you are facing. Look at the window, find left and right then when you turn towards the wall, left and right is different. No wonder it was hard! I love finding the misconceptions and untangling them with the student.
