Platinum Jiu Jitsu

Two years ago I opened the doors with no idea what this would become. This June, Platinum BJJ turns 2 and we're celebrating by moving into a brand new home, just a stone's throw from where it all started. Big things coming. 🔥

A week before Christmas in 2024 we moved into our current space, still had to set up and pack the mats down but only once a week as we shared the space with a church (who ended up getting kicked out for damaging our stuff)

We stayed on jigsaw mats until September 2025, had to remove seating capacity to increase mat space, had worked up a good relationship with the centre at this point 🙏

June 2024: The messy beginning. 🛠️

​Looking back, I had no idea what I was doing. I was still working a full-time job with a dream and a vision that kept me up at night.

For years, I told myself I’d start my own gym when the timing was "perfect."

​Spoiler: The timing is never perfect. You just have to start.
