Children across the centre, from Nursery through to Kindergarten, enjoyed participating in their Japanese lesson. Exposure to a second language supports communication, listening, and memory skills while fostering curiosity about different cultures. These engaging experiences help children develop confidence, respect for diversity, and a broader understanding of the world around them.

At Jacaranda Early Education, we have introduced a ‘no shoes’ policy for parents and visitors entering our nursery room. As our babies spend so much time crawling and exploring on the floor, this simple practice helps create a cleaner, healthier environment and supports their wellbeing.

Our toddlers had an amazing time celebrating Bike Day at the centre! Riding bikes helps little children grow strong muscles, improve their balance and coordination, and learn how to move safely around the world. It was so much fun to see the children zooming around, exploring, staying active, and enjoying special moments with their friends.

Our Junior Kindy children celebrated National Nurses Day through role play, caring for patients and exploring real-life routines. Role play builds empathy, communication skills, and confidence. It was lovely to see their kindness and teamwork shine.✨.

Our learning is always a joyful and unexpected turn as we explore patterns, rhythm, and early numeracy through movement and play. As we recognize beats and predict what comes next, the whole class naturally transitions into a game of hopscotch, stepping and tapping their way through patterned images together. It is a wonderful example of how learning can flow beautifully when children are engaged intensively and extensively.

The Junior Kindy children enjoyed riding bikes together outdoors, inviting one another to join in their play. They practiced communication and inclusion as they took turns and shared the space. This free play supports children’s social skills, confidence, and teamwork. It was lovely to see friendships grow through active and cooperative play.
