Where do I start
THANK YOU thank you thank you I can’t thank the Ronald McDonald house learning program enough what kade has achieved through this program it is nothing short of amazing he has come so far this past year. Roy his tutor was amazing with Kade. The end of the term last year before the Christmas holidays Kade cried cause he thought he wouldn’t see Roy again. When I look back at where Kade was when he started seeing Roy to where he is now is nothing short of a miracle he has gone from one end of the scale to the other and I attribute that to the work Roy did with Kade. Cake angels wow his birthday cake was magic his eyes when he saw it just shone bright and his facial expression was adorable. Your program sure knows how to put smiles in the kids faces. I just cannot say thank you enough for the support we have received.

Rich kids get to attend 'the best' schools and can afford tutoring.
The less privileged are not so lucky. In 2007 the Howard government provided funding for tutoring to assist all students who fell below the National benchmarks in literacy and or numeracy. An excellent initiative that enabled thousands of students to improve their learning. Perhaps its time to revisit government support to help overcome the disadvantage some students have both in a financial sense, ie can't afford tutoring, and disadvantage because they continue to struggle to achieve acceptable academic standards in literacy and or numeracy.
