87 young people. 51 industry reps. 36 companies. 8 exclusive networking events - all unlocked and delivered by The Industry School.

In addition to teaching our Gold Coast Year 12 students about business as part of their Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business; we brought the industry directly to them. By facilitating these powerful connections with local employers across their chosen fields, we gave our students the direct opportunity to build real-world relationships.

At The Industry School, we bridge the gap between education and industry so that our students can get a head start on their careers, while they're still at school.

โœจ What an inspiring night celebrating the next generation of women in trades at the Future Lady Tradie Awards!

The Industry School was proud to attend the Future Lady Tradie Awards and support six of our outstanding students who were finalists in the 'School-based Apprentice of the Year' category.
As the proud sponsor of this category, it was inspiring to celebrate the achievements of young women pursuing careers in the trades and making a real impact in the industry.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners on your incredible achievements. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young tradies! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”จ

Tonight Year 12 student Keonee Peden is stepping into the spotlight as a finalist for 'School-Based Apprentice of the Year' at the Future Lady Tradies Built to Bloom Awards! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’•

Balancing high school and a school-based apprenticeship takes an incredible amount of dedication, resilience, and early mornings. Keonee, your hard work and passion have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder to see you recognised on this stage.

Enjoy every moment of tonight's celebrationโ€”we are all cheering for you!โœจ

"We know we're not going to change the world, but we're able to change the world for some individuals and families we work with."

We caught up with our CEO, Lee Smith, about the International Service Project (ISP) Cambodia. The idea of giving back has always been part of the DNA of The Industry School. Partnering with New Hope Cambodia, selected staff and students from all six campuses fly to Siem Reap next week to put their skills to work building homes for families who need them most.

Our young people worked hard to raise the funds behind this trip: materials for the homes they'll build, improvements to the New Hope Cambodia School, and essential items for families in Siem Reap ๐Ÿ  This year, they raised $165,000 in total.

This project wouldn't be possible without the support of our generous sponsors whose donations made a lasting difference to the community in Cambodia: D&K Foundation, JETPILOT, Bosch Professional Power Tools And Accessories and Emu Gully Adventure Education Group.

โšก๏ธ A huge congratulations to our four newest Apprentice Electricians in Year 11, who have officially signed up and started their journey in the electrical industry ! ๐ŸŽ‰

After successfully completing their TAFE Certificate II and demonstrating dedication, reliability and a strong work ethic throughout their work experience placements, these students have now taken the exciting next step into school-based apprenticeships.

The electrical industry continues to offer incredible career opportunities, with high demand for skilled workers across construction, infrastructure, renewable energy and emerging technologies. These apprentices are entering a sector full of growth, innovation and long-term career potential. ๐Ÿš€

We're incredibly proud of what they have achieved so far and can't wait to see where their careers take them. Well done, legends! ๐Ÿ‘โšก๏ธ
