Happy Bastille Day! Or as we say it in French, "Bonne fête nationale!"

Le quatorze juillet is France's national holiday, and while the French are celebrating with fireworks, friends, and enjoying a very hot summer in Europe, it's the beginning of the new school term here in Queensland. So bonne rentrée scolaire to all of the students (and teachers) heading back to school today!

With school back in session, our regular tuition schedule is back too. Looking forward to hearing all about your school holidays adventures this week (I hear some of you even ventured to France!).

It's a big week here at Salut! Salut! as the school term nears its end, meaning a calendar of extra tuition sessions to prepare students for their high school and university exams, as well as speaking practice with students heading on European adventures!

All this talk of summer in Paris has me dreaming of my next visit too. 🇫🇷 In the meantime, I've been writing up practice exam scenarios, helping revise conjugation and vocabulary, and crafting unique study tools specific to each of my students' needs and/or curriculums.

I’ve been tutoring French for 10 years, seven of which have been here on the Gold Coast. My passion for the French language started young: I attended my first French lesson at just four years old, and a year later, we were in France! Salut Gold Coast francophiles!

The new school term is fast approaching, which means we're inviting new students onto our tuition rosters!

New student intake is now open for the first term of 2024. With the start of school, it’s the perfect time to dust off those cobwebs and get back into your French language learning.

If you/your child is a Gold Coast-based school-aged or university level student seeking support in your French studies (or are just as obsessed about the French language as we are), we’re here to help! And, of course, to share our passion for all things francophone!
