Happy Bastille Day! Or as we say it in French, "Bonne fête nationale!"

Le quatorze juillet is France's national holiday, and while the French are celebrating with fireworks, friends, and enjoying a very hot summer in Europe, it's the beginning of the new school term here in Queensland. So bonne rentrée scolaire to all of the students (and teachers) heading back to school today!

With school back in session, our regular tuition schedule is back too. Looking forward to hearing all about your school holidays adventures this week (I hear some of you even ventured to France!).

À très bientôt! ❤️🇫🇷

It's a big week here at Salut! Salut! as the school term nears its end, meaning a calendar of extra tuition sessions to prepare students for their high school and university exams, as well as speaking practice with students heading on European adventures!

All this talk of summer in Paris has me dreaming of my next visit too. 🇫🇷 In the meantime, I've been writing up practice exam scenarios, helping revise conjugation and vocabulary, and crafting unique study tools specific to each of my students' needs and/or curriculums.

Wishing everyone bonne chance!

Bonjour ! It’s Sierra, tutor and founder of Salut! Salut! French Tutoring. Ça fait longtemps !

I’ve been tutoring French for 10 years, seven of which have been here on the Gold Coast. My passion for the French language started young: I attended my first French lesson at just four years old, and a year later, we were in France! And my French obsession has persisted ever since, taking me to Québec and France before finding myself in Australia.

I love helping students grow confident in their French and excited about exploring the French-speaking world, whether they’re studying for a school exam, preparing to travel, work, or study overseas, or looking to connect to their francophone heritage.
