The biggest mistake after time off is trying to make up for lost time.
My focus right now is rebuilding capacity.. fueling enough to support training, keeping protein high, progressively increasing strength, movement and prioritising recovery between sessions.
The same approach I use with my clients: understand where you’re starting, have a plan for where you’re going and adjust based on the feedback along the way.
Plenty more to come from this rebuild… but these are the foundations we’re starting with.
Let’s get strong af🫡

I’ve noticed the conversation around women’s bodies changing again.
And I think it’s worth talking about.
Not because there’s anything wrong with being skinny. There isn’t.
But because when one body type suddenly becomes the “ideal”, it’s very easy to start questioning a body you were completely fine with before.
That’s the part I want you to notice.
Did your goals actually change?
Or did what you’re consuming change?
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to change your body. I have physique goals too.
Just make sure the goal is coming from you.
Not an algorithm, not a trend, not somebody else’s genetics, lifestyle or highlight reel.
You can want results AND eat enough.
You can care about your physique AND have a life.
You can be disciplined AND flexible.
You can get leaner without making “smaller” the goal of your entire existence.
There is no universally perfect body to work towards.
There’s just yours.
Look after it, train it, fuel it. Build it in a way that makes sense for the life YOU want to live🤎
6 weeks on crutches. Now the rebuild begins❤️🔥
This comeback is about more than training again.
It’s about rebuilding strength properly through nutrition, recovery, sleep and consistency.
These are the Switch Nutrition supplements I use daily and why:
🥛WPI
• A simple and delicious way to increase my protein intake across the day.
• 25g+ protein per serve, I use it in oats, smoothie bowls, yoghurt or shakes to help support muscle repair and recovery.
💪🏼CREATINE
• One of the most researched supplements for strength and performance.
• I take creatine every day, including rest days because consistency matters more than timing.
🧘🏼♀️ADRENAL
• Part of my afternoon wind down routine.
• With magnesium, glycine and ashwagandha, I use it as part of my routine to support relaxation after a busy day of work or training.
🌙SLEEP
• My final step before bed and nightly hot choc🤌🏼
• With magnesium, glycine and tart cherry, I use it as part of my evening routine to support relaxation and quality sleep.
⭐️But the most important reminder:
Supplements should support the foundations, not replace them.
For me, those foundations are eating enough, prioritising protein, training progressively, recovering properly and getting quality sleep.
Because the work you do outside the gym matters just as much as the work you do inside it.
I spent 6 weeks focused on healing.
Now I’m focused on rebuilding stronger!❤️🔥

One of the biggest mistakes I see is trying to make every meal as small or “low calorie” as possible.
Your body needs actual fuel to train hard, recover, build muscle, have energy + feel good.
My simple formula for building a meal:
Protein → muscle growth, recovery + satisfaction
Carbs → training performance + energy
Fats → hormones + satisfaction
Colour → fibre + micronutrients
Flavour → because healthy food should actually taste GOOD
And you do not need complicated recipes to make your food taste unreal.
Seasonings + herbs I use on repeat:
onion powder • smoked paprika • dried chives • dried oregano
Add sauces, season properly and build meals you look forward to eating is KEY🔐
Save this for your next grocery shop!😍

What a WEEK!!🥹
Moved into my new home on Monday, got told I can WALK again after 6 weeks on crutches😭😭, slowly back into the gym, lots of slow mornings, good food, sunsets & time with my favourite people.
A lot of change, a lot of little wins & feeling very very grateful for life right now🤍
Life lately.. time to get back into the swing of things🤘🏽

6 weeks ago, I had a Grade 2 bone stress injury of my inferior femoral neck.
Today, it’s gone🥹
One of the hardest seasons I’ve been through but also one of the most valuable.
Being forced to stop changed the way I look at training, fuelling, recovery, body image and what being “strong” actually means.
Because your body isn’t something you should have to fight against to reach your goals.
It’s the thing that has to carry you there.
And sometimes slowing down doesn’t mean you’re moving backwards.
Sometimes it gives you the chance to ask whether the direction you were going was even where you wanted to end up.
So I’m rebuilding with some very big goals ahead and I’m sharing everything I learn along the way.
If you’re rebuilding something too, I hope this next chapter reminds you that starting again doesn’t mean starting from zero.
