Goodstart Early Learning Helensvale

We’re reaching out to our wonderful community for a little help - As part of our learning program, we love using loose parts play to spark creativity, imagination and problem-solving in our children. We’re looking to grow our collection and would greatly appreciate any donations of safe, clean items you may have at home!

Some examples of our wishlist include:
🔹 Recycled materials (bottle lids, old keys, golf tees, empty glass spice jars, bicycle wheels, milk crates, nuts and bolts, magnets)
🔹 Building items (crates, PVC off cuts, tiles, flex pipe)
🔹 Fabric scraps, ribbons or lace
🔹 Buttons, beads or shells
🔹 Natural materials (pinecones, corks, sticks, seed pods, crystals, gems)

If you have anything you’d like to donate, please drop it in to the centre—your contributions make such a difference to the experiences we can offer our children. Thank you for supporting our learning community and helping us create rich, engaging play spaces.

Sea of Hearts 2026
This year Goodstart Helensvale are taking part in the amazing movement, sea of hearts during reconciliation week. Reconciliation is about building respectful relationships and understanding between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme is “All In” — reminding us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility and meaningful change happens when we all take part together. We invite our community to participate and collect a heart, show what reconciliation means to you and bring it to the centre for us to display!
