Congratulations to Mrs Kemp and our sensational GA Jazz Band who performed so well at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod today. They came away with a Gold Award and Very Highly Commended. 🙌🏼🎉🎺🎷🎶
We have to give a huge shout out to Mrs Kemp and Mrs Lubbe for all their hard work throughout the Eisteddfod season. Our students are so lucky to have these passionate mentors as well as Mr Mangan (aka Mango 🥭) and other support staff who were an enormous help. GA ALL THE WAY 🚀
Gold Coast Eisteddfod

Although today is the last day of Bullying No Way Week, we know many of the important conversations students and teachers have been having together will having lasting impacts. These students in 3M explored the theme with an Affirmation Station and Small Acts Big Impact chain.

Today, Year 4 ventured to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary 🦘to explore how different animals act as producers, consumers and decomposers in our environment. Everyone had a great day. Huge thanks to our teachers and parent helpers.

As our classroom conversations continue around the subject of bullying this week, students are reflecting on ways they can show kindness and empathy towards each other. Students in 4M created these posters to remind students about positive behaviour choices. Bullying No Way

More GC Eisteddfod success to report this week. Yesterday our Year 6 band won a 2nd place Gold Award. Today our Year 5 Band won FIRST PLACE PLATINUM AWARD 🏆.
Great to hear that the Aquinas Collective also picked up a 2nd Place Platinum Award!! Mrs Kemp is thrilled at how well our students are playing. Congratulations teachers and students! 👏👏👏👏
