🌟 Under 8's Day Fun at St Brigid's! 🌟

What a fantastic day of learning, exploration and fun as we celebrated Under 8's Day! 🎉

Our students enjoyed a range of exciting hands-on activities, with special highlights including visits from the Queensland Ambulance Service 🚑 and Queensland Police Service 🚓. The children loved climbing aboard the emergency vehicles, learning about the important work our first responders do, and discovering how they help keep our community safe.

A big thank you to our wonderful emergency services personnel for taking the time to visit and share their knowledge with our students. We are also grateful to our staff and student leaders who helped make the day so special.

It was wonderful to see our youngest learners exploring, creating, questioning and having fun together. 💚💛

💛 R U OK? Day is this Thursday, 10 September! 💛

To show our support for this important day, students are encouraged to wear a splash of yellow with their full school uniform. This could be a yellow hair tie, socks, ribbon, wristband, or another small accessory.

R U OK? Day reminds us to check in with friends, family and those around us because a simple conversation can make a big difference.

🟡 Thursday 10 September 🟡 Full school uniform 🟡 Add a splash of yellow!

Let's come together to spread kindness, connection and support throughout our St Brigid's community. 💛😊
