๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ FREE FRUIT DAY ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ๐ŸŠ

Our students loved being greeted this morning with a fresh piece of fruit and a smile as they arrived at school. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying a healthy snack to kick off their day.

A huge thank you to Meaghan Scanlon MP for supporting our school community through this wonderful initiative. We are so grateful for your generosity and for helping promote healthy habits in such a positive and welcoming way. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ

State Member for Gaven, Meaghan Scanlon MP, will be at St Brigid's tomorrow morning serving fresh fruit to all our students before school. On a Thursday!
๐ŸŽ Fresh fruit day. Powered by community

Across Australia, too many children are starting their school day without the fuel they need to learn, play and thrive. Fresh Fruit Friday exists to change that โ€” by making fresh, healthy fruit a normal part of every school week.

It is a simple, community-powered movement that connects schools with local supermarkets, greengrocers and growers to provide free fruit to students โ€” every Friday, every week. No red tape. No cost to families. Just good food shared generously.

What a fantastic day we had at the St Brigidโ€™s Race Day on Saturday! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‡
It was wonderful to see so many parents, staff and friends of our school community come together for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and great company.
A very special thank you to the amazing Kirsten for her incredible work organising the day and sourcing the fantastic raffle prizes. Your hard work, generosity and attention to detail helped make the event such a success.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the parents and staff who attended and supported the event. Your enthusiasm and community spirit are what make St Brigidโ€™s such a special place.
Thank you for helping create a memorable day. We are already looking forward to the next one! ๐Ÿ’š

Because we chose Traditional Prizes with the Colour Fun Run, you can choose not to receive the prizes but instead support one of six worthy causes with the Care For A Cause option. Simply choose one of the organisations listed youโ€™d like to support instead of putting your bonus prize money for the funds you raised towards prizes.

Last year families helped to provide 81,576 meals, 17,791 turtle tokens, 5,747 corals for planting, 4,151 book tokens, and 3,595 trees.

If youโ€™d like to be a part of this, you can choose to Care For A Cause.

๐ŸŒŸ Year 6 Leadership Formation Day ๐ŸŒŸ

Our Year 6 leaders recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Leadership Formation Day at Jubilee Primary School, joining student leaders from other Catholic schools across the region.

Throughout the day, students participated in activities and discussions that encouraged them to grow as faith-filled leaders, strengthen their leadership skills, and reflect on how they can make a positive difference in their school communities.

We are incredibly proud of the way our St Brigidโ€™s leaders represented our school, demonstrating respect, enthusiasm, and a commitment to living out our school values. ๐Ÿ’™

A special thank you to Jubilee Primary School for hosting such an inspiring and engaging day. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™
