Our eyes are the window to our souls. Allow our children to know art. They’ll paint, They’ll Sculpt. They will squish and roll Play-Doh. They’ll draw, scribble, cut, glue, and create. They will notice colours, patterns, shapes, light and shadow. They will learn to recognise beauty in the world around them and express what they see, think, and feel. Through art, they’ll build curious minds, capable hands, and confident hearts.

We have loved spending the day incorporating some indigenous experiences into today’s play to celebrate NAIDOC week. The Golden Wattles especially loved making their version of stone soup from one of our beloved storylands.

Winter Solstice 2026 at Whispering Gully Robina. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t have the families of the community couldn’t come and join us this year. Although, the children had a beautiful cosy experience all dressed in their warm winter pyjamas, they loved taking part in wand making, creating bookmarks, crowns, dream catches, water colour painting and picture frames. 🌬️❄️🩵

Another Thursday full of a whole lot of mess and play! That’s our favourite type of day 🎨
Today consists of learning about tsunami’s, face painting, construction building with loose parts, scissor cutting, sensory trays and building on our 5 senses, baby feeding and a tonnes of creative imagination.

I heard a rumour that Bluegums have fleece mat making in the agenda next week! We cannot wait to see what they come up with! ❄️🌬️
