Today, Bright Kids Management had the pleasure of showing a little appreciation to our amazing team at BK! 🥰

A little lunch, lots of laughter, a small gift 🎁 and a personalised message for each of our incredible educators — just a little something to bring a smile to their faces and remind them how truly valued they are. 💐💕

Our educators give so much of themselves every single day. They nurture, guide, comfort, encourage, teach and make a difference in the lives of our children in so many ways. 🌈🫶🏼

🌿✨ A beautiful start to our school holiday by joining in on Bush Kindy ✨🌿

Following on from our Yoga Day celebrations, our Sea Turtles and a handful of our school-aged friends headed into nature for a special yoga experience amongst the trees. 🍃

We began with mindful breathing, taking a moment to slow down and connect with ourselves before exploring our yoga poses using our yoga dice. Each child had a turn rolling the dice and sharing the poses they have been practising. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

We finished with a peaceful meditation as Miss Tracy played the drum, creating a calming moment of connection, relaxation and mindfulness.

A beautiful way to begin our week — grounding ourselves in nature and embracing the magic of Bush Kindy. 💚🌱

🛁 Splish, Splash, Learning Through Play! 👶💙

Our little learners have been busy caring for their baby dolls during a wonderful water play experience! Armed with face washers, towels, and lots of gentle hands, the children carefully washed, dried, and looked after their babies.

This nurturing role-play experience encourages empathy, kindness, and responsibility while supporting language development, social skills, and imaginative thinking.

It’s amazing to see how everyday experiences inspire meaningful learning through play. 💕🧸

🌿🚜 Exploring Nature Through Play 🚜🌿

Our toddlers have been busy exploring and discovering in our environmental yard, engaging with the natural world around them through hands-on play. 🍃🌱

The children extended their interest in trucks and construction by using diggers and dump trucks in the mud pit, scooping, digging, transporting and creating their own little work sites. Through these experiences, they developed problem-solving skills, coordination, creativity and an understanding of how the world around them works.

We love watching children’s interests come to life in our outdoor environment, where nature becomes the perfect classroom for learning, exploration and imagination. 💚✨

🌧️ Rainy days don’t stop the fun at Bright Kids! 🧘‍♀️🎲

Our toddlers enjoyed a yoga and breathwork session in the classroom today, combining movement, mindfulness, and turn-taking. Using a yoga dice, each child had the opportunity to take turns rolling and discovering which pose the group would try next.

This fun and interactive experience encouraged children to move their bodies, practice patience while waiting for their turn, follow instructions, and develop their balance and coordination. We also focused on deep breathing techniques, helping children to regulate their emotions, build concentration, and promote a sense of calm and wellbeing.

A wonderful way to stay active, connected, and engaged while the rain fell outside! 💙✨

Last week our children had a fantastic time attending Under 8’s Day at Nerang State School as part of our School Readiness Program. 💛

The children enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities, explored new learning environments, and built confidence as they connected with the wider community. Experiences like these help support a smooth and positive transition to school while making learning fun!

We loved seeing so many smiles, curiosity, and excitement throughout the day. 🌟

🚧 Digging, scooping, pouring and exploring! 🚧

Our Dolphins children had so much fun engaging in sensory play through the sand trough experience today. Using excavators, dump trucks and diggers, the children worked together to move sand around while expanding their imagination and creativity.

We also introduced natural and loose part resources such as wooden chips, paddle pop sticks and corks to encourage open-ended play and problem-solving. The children explored different ways to build, scoop, transport and create, all while developing their fine motor skills, communication and teamwork.

It was wonderful to watch the children engage so deeply in their play, sharing ideas and creating their own little construction site together! 🏗️✨
