Last Thursday, our Kindergarten children began the morning by learning how to say “good morning” in 10 different languages, celebrating the rich diversity of cultures and languages around us.
We were then joined by Miss Alana, who spoke with the children about the many Indigenous languages and Nations that make up Australia. Using the AIATSIS Map of Indigenous Australia, she helped us locate where we live and explore the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples across the country.
Inspired by this learning experience, the children continued their exploration at the art table, creating their own drawings and paintings of the map. It was a wonderful opportunity to build cultural awareness, curiosity, and appreciation for Australia's First Nations peoples.

Yesterday, our kindergarten children headed off on our very first excursion to Tallebudgera State School for the year! 🎉
The children had an absolute blast walking to and from the school, enjoying friendly waves from passers-by, dodging puddles and singing songs along the way. ☀️🎶💦
Once we arrived, we began our exciting Tally Tiger Treasure Hunt at the tuckshop, where we met the lovely Miss Desi, who shared all about what happens there. We then continued our adventure around the school, discovering Tally Tiger posters at the prep playground, undercover eating area, library, toilets and music room — just to name a few! Each stop gave the children a wonderful insight into the different spaces around the school and what they are used for.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many of our old kindy friends who are now at school. Everyone was so welcoming, waving hello and making us feel very special during our visit to Tallebudgera State School. 💛
What a fantastic first excursion filled with fun, exploration and connection!

Yesterday for National Bee Day, our toddlers explored a beautiful bee sensory tray thoughtfully set up by Miss Rachel using split peas, bee-shaped pasta, and honeycomb pieces. Around the tray were interesting facts and images about bees, encouraging the children’s curiosity and early understanding of the natural world. 🐝🍯
Today, the learning continued as the children created their own bee paintings using yellow and black paint, proudly expressing their creativity while extending on their bee-themed experiences. What a wonderful way to learn through play, exploration, and art! 💛🖤

Today in kindergarten, we celebrated IDAHOBIT Day with some beautiful rainbow face painting by Miss Alana 🌈
IDAHOBIT Day is a special day that stands against bullying and discrimination, while celebrating inclusion, kindness, and respect for everyone.
The children did such a wonderful job sitting patiently and waiting for their turn. We are so proud of how kind, respectful, and caring they were throughout the activity 😊
Our Senior Toddlers also joined in the celebrations by dressing up in rainbow colours, sparkles, and bling ✨ They had so much fun creating a rainbow cake collage and celebrating a day full of inclusion, friendship, and kindness ❤️
