When I first started training Jackie she had limited range of motion with her left arm to the point where she couldn’t lift her arm overhead and definitely couldn’t even do half this motion.

We broke through the range of motion a little while ago and now are working on building the strength through this side.

We started on 1kg weights and are now on 4kg (with the chance we will be moving onto 5kg soon - she’s just unaware haha)

Being apart of someone’s recovery from an injury is beyond rewarding.

Sophie Findlay being dedicated and training today.
Significant drops in cm all around from 6 weeks ago - biggest decrease is 3cm down in the waist and 5cm down in the hips.

A routine I’ve really gotten into is doing some form of yoga before bed.
This style is called Yin Yoga where you hold positions for a long time. You just let yourself get really heavy and stretch out everything.
This helps me switch off before bed and just be really relaxed.
Can’t go wrong with a bit of stretching 🥰

Decided to go outside and use the equipment as well as run in between each station.
Can’t go wrong when it’s a beautiful day, incredible setting along the water and Sophie Findlay swearing at you hahaha.
You did good bish, well done 👍🏼

Looks easy, give it a go.
The closer the bent knee to the bum the more difficult, as well as the straightened leg forces your core and lower abdomen to work harder.

I’m super impressed with the progress of this chick....

The single leg RDL is a fantastic exercise for the posterior chain.

Why’s it important to work the posterior chain??
In this day and age, our lifestyles have us sitting, slouching and leaning forward. Working the posterior chain strengthens the back part of your body which leads to better posture, strong back and glutes which is great for injury prevention. In a sporting aspect, it’s great for forward propulsion or strong, explosive movements.

Add the unilateral aspect and you work on balance, hip stability, better core stability and hand-eye coordination.
