🍐 Happy Friday from our little kitchen! 🍌

There’s nothing quite like starting the day with something freshly baked, made with a little love. 💛

Today our little friends enjoy a mini pear & raspberry and banana & raspberry muffin, made with our beautiful KGF pears and fresh fruit delivered to our centre daily.

And because we know Mum and Dad deserve breakfast too, we have our Grab & Go breakfast muffins waiting in the foyer! 🥰
Pop in, grab a little something for your morning and start the day with a smile. 🧁

Because kindness can be as simple as making sure everyone has something to eat. 💕
Happy Friday, everyone! We hope your day is filled with happy little moments. 🌈✨

Joining us for breakfast? 🌞

Breakfast is served each morning between 6:30am–7:30am, giving our children a relaxed start to their day with a nutritious meal before they begin their learning and play.
Today’s menu:
🌯 Grilled cheese wraps
🍓 Fresh, home grown strawberries
We love creating opportunities for children to enjoy fresh food, explore different flavours and share mealtimes together. 💛
Good food, happy tummies and a great start to the day!

🌾🐄 Our First Farm Day at Goodstart Nerang! 🐓🍎

Last Wednesday, our centre came alive for our very first Farm Day! The children and educators got into the spirit by dressing up and spending the day exploring all things farm life. 🤠🌻

Through hands on experiences, the children explored picking fruit, caring for animals, where our food comes from and market shopping. These experiences provided opportunities for children to:

🌱 Develop an understanding of where food comes from and how it gets from the farm to our tables.
🐄 Build empathy, responsibility and care through learning about animals.
🍎 Explore nature, food and seasonal produce through hands-on experiences.
🛒 Develop early mathematical, communication and social skills through market shopping and role play.
🤝 Work together, share ideas and build connections with educators and their peers.
🌏 Develop respect and appreciation for farmers, animals, nature and the environment.

Most importantly, the day was filled with curiosity, connection, imagination and lots of fun! ❤️

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

☀️ Our kindergarten class has been exploring all things farm! Friday, we enjoyed the sunshine while bringing our learning to life through dramatic play at our very own farmer’s market. So much imaginative play, learning and fun! 🥕🍎👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

🌸Happy Friday from Flower! 🌸

Flower, our centre bearded dragon, decided to lend a helping claw in the office today! 🥰
Nothing like a little reptile company to brighten up the workday although she seems much more interested in crawling over the paperwork than actually doing it!

Happy Friday from Flower and the team! 💚
