We love this!!! The Lakes College students are incredibly fortunate to have a school leadership that values play so much! ❤️
Today, TLC joined schools and communities around the world in celebrating the UN Day of Play.
Led nationally by Play Australia this year's theme, Protect Play, Protect Childhood, reminds us of the vital role that free, unstructured play has in supporting children's wellbeing, creativity, friendships and development.
As part of the , inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, our students enjoyed an extra 31 minutes of play!
💙 Prep and Year 6 students enjoyed a special Buddies Play together in the Prep playground and classrooms.
💛 Year 4 students revisited the Year 1–3 playground for 31 minutes of fun.
💙 Year 1 students enjoyed exploring and playing in the Prep playground.

All the sleepless nights were worth it!
We are so proud of this latest design at Toowoomba Anglican School
The school wanted a new "wow" entrance, which could be used for outdoor learning, student collaboration and a bus stop.
It took many hours of head scratching, mathematical equations and superb carpentry skills to build these dual curved timber seats.
They are stunning!

My team had a hard time keeping up with Winnie in this new playground at Norfolk Village State School on the Gold Coast!
I designed this play space with as much wheelchair access as possible so all students have an opportunity to play alongside each other.
The timber ship has a ramp to access the musical instruments, activity panels and talk tube. The water pump is at a height that can be accessed from a wheelchair, as can the shop fronts, mud kitchen and fishing rods.

All hands on deck!
When you are building playgrounds, it is important to get the ✅ of approval from the real end users!
I am pleased to say, Everything Outside got top marks from our helpers at Norfolk Village State School
