How is your posture right now? .... And how do you feel?

Most of us spend our days with shoulders rounded, chest collapsed, head forward, and tailbone tucked under. It's become the normal posture of modern life.

But what if this posture is doing more than affecting your body?

Steve often says that the nervous system and spine are the gateway to consciousness. The way we hold ourselves doesn't just reflect how we're experiencing life, it helps create that experience.

A contracted posture reinforces contraction in our lives. Fear. Stress. Concern. Protection.

An open posture invites the heart to begin leading.

Lift your heart. Open your shoulders. Bring your head back over your spine. Untuck your tailbone. Breathe deeply.

When you consciously choose expansion instead of contraction, you're using your body as an instrument of consciousness.

Today, notice your posture.

Are you protecting yourself from life?

Or are you open to it?
