💰 Money was the theme and growth was the investment! 💰
On the 26th Nerang Toastmasters welcomed four visitors this week, plus one extra who dropped in for a quick vibe check after recently moving to the area.
A few last-minute program changes couldn’t slow us down, with Kaiden taking on the Toastmaster role for the first time and doing an outstanding job keeping the meeting flowing.
Helen stepped into the Table Topics Master role, using a little AI assistance to quickly generate some fun and thought-provoking money-themed questions that sparked plenty of discussion and creativity from our members and visitors.
The highlight was hearing feedback from our visitors, who shared that they enjoyed learning from the evaluations as much as the speeches. They described Nerang Toastmasters as supportive, encouraging and welcoming – exactly the culture we strive to create.
Whether you’re looking to improve your public speaking, build confidence or develop leadership skills, we’d love to welcome you to a future meeting held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, arriving at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.

“Heroes Night” (14th – Catch-up Post)
✨🦸🏽♀️🦸🏻♂️ Heroes Among Us – Catch-Up Recap 🦸🏻♂️🦸🏼♀️✨
We couldn’t let this one go by without a mention…
Our Hero-themed meeting (with Resilience as the word of the night 💫) turned into something truly special.
With four last-minute cancellations 😮, the night could have easily unraveled — but instead…
💥 Everyone became a hero. 💥
Members stepped up 🙌, filled roles, supported each other, and made sure the meeting ran smoothly. The energy in the room was incredible ⚡
👏 A big welcome to our newest member Kochi 🎉 (pictured)
👏 Thank you to our visiting Toastmaster who jumped in to help 🙏
🌟 And a special mention to Ness, whose Ice Breaker was outstanding — you would never have guessed it was her very first speech! 👏✨
It was a powerful reminder that Toastmasters isn’t just about speaking…
❤️ It’s about community, resilience, and showing up for each other.
