And with Mother’s Day just around the corner this Sunday, we’d like to wish all our mums, carers and special women a very Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

I dropped in to visit one of the worthy recipients of the recent Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) Round 125 — the Cedar Creek State School P&C.

P&C President Cari Hughes shared the significant need for their small school to install a permanent shade structure over the seating area in the Prep playground. The project aligns perfectly with the Crisafulli Government’s Shade Smart program for schools, helping ensure students have safe, sun smart spaces to learn and play.
While I was there, we celebrated our volunteers, thanking Cedar Creeks P&C for their commitment to the school, with a lovely morning tea. To top it off I was pleasantly surprised to have Cedar Creek State School student leadership team join us in the celebration.

A great morning was had by all, and it was wonderful to hear about the positive impact this funding will have on the school community.

🌟 Uniform Price Update 🌟

Dear families,

We would like to let you know that there will be a small increase to some school uniform prices.

This decision has not been made lightly. Like many suppliers and services, the cost of stock has continued to rise, and unfortunately these increases now need to be reflected in our uniform pricing to ensure the uniform shop remains sustainable.

We have worked to keep increases as minimal as possible and continue to keep uniforms affordable for families wherever we can.
