A huge thank you to Currumbin RSL for their generous $1000 grant supporting important initiatives and programs at Ingleside State School focused on student safety and NAIDOC celebrations.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support shown to our school and wider community. Partnerships like these help us create meaningful opportunities for our students to feel safe, connected and proud of culture and community.

Thank you, Currumbin RSL, for investing in our students and supporting the important work happening in our school.

Thank you to our students and families who attended the ANZAC Day service at Currumbin RSL to represent Ingleside yesterday.

We appreciate the time taken to be part of this important occasion and to honour the spirit of ANZAC within our wider community.

A special acknowledgement to our school captains for laying the wreath on behalf of our school, and to the families who supported their children to attend.

Lest we forget.

Last week, some of our Year 5 and 6 students had the opportunity to represent our school at the Gold Coast Youth Parliament, and we could not be prouder of the way they conducted themselves. Stepping into a formal setting, they spoke with confidence, clarity and purpose, sharing their ideas on issues that matter to them and their community. It was wonderful to see them demonstrate not only strong public speaking skills, but also respect, courage and thoughtful leadership. Experiences like this empower our students to find their voice and understand that their ideas can make a difference, and they certainly rose to the occasion.

A special guest hopped in to remind students that tomorrow is the Easter Hat Parade and the last day of term, but there was no one around. We're sure our students are enjoying the Storyfest excursion and might see our visitor later in the day.

Congratulations to our Ingleside State School Handball Team 👏 who competed in the Gold Coast Schools Handball Competition over the weekend and finished an impressive 3rd overall 🥉.

There were several individual awards across the day 🏅 and great sportsmanship shown by all players 🤝. A special mention to Seb, who dominated his square and earned valuable points for Ingleside.

Most importantly, the team left with big smiles after a fantastic day of handball 😄. Well done, team! 🎉

A huge thank you to the families who support our students to participate in competitions like these.
