As the weather cools down, little bodies need warm, nourishing food to keep them going 🍛
Our new autumn menu is filled with comforting, wholesome meals designed to support your child’s wellbeing and growing appetite.
And yes... we’re often told children try foods here they won’t touch at home 👀
We’ve even shared a few simple tips to help make mealtimes easier for you at home too.

Today we celebrated ♻️Global Recycling Day ♻️ under our ongoing theme of Sustainability and Harmony. Our toddlers joyfully extended their building and construction play using recyclable materials. With boxes 📦 of different sizes, we stacked them up high, knocked them down, and built them again — exploring cause and effect while working together in harmony.
🌿♻️We also continued our sustainable practice of watering our plants. The children are becoming more confident and responsible in caring for our garden, showing gentle hands and patience as they nurture the plants each day.

🐥 Our Henny Penny Program 🐣
Our Henny Penny program gives the children the opportunity to observe the hatching process, interact with them and learn about the chicks and the chicken’s life cycle 🐓.
This is a valuable part of a child’s learning experience, as it enriches their learning about ecology, nature and relationships 🐥👶🏽🐣👧🏻.
We have observed the children’s excitement and curiosity about the chicks and their desire to interact and hold them🐥🐓
This is a wonderful opportunity filled with many benefits, which contributes to the holistic growth and development of our children, as well as instilling empathy and compassion.
🐥♥️
This experience supports EYLF Learning Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.

Sustainability with our toddlers 🌿 The toddlers are currently learning about sustainable items that can be utilized in our educational settings. Today, the toddlers participated in constructing with recycled items, rolling balls through cardboard tunnels, and establishing their own vegetable garden 🌿

🐞Bugs, and establishing our worm farm as our sustainability focus. As a centre, we have been exploring ways to enhance our sustainability and incorporate eco-friendly practices into our daily routines.
🌿During group time, the kindergarten children brainstormed and expressed their desire to establish a worm farm 🪱 for composting and cultivate vegetables in the garden. This has sparked a variety of conversations about insects that can be found in our gardens.
🪲The junior kindy children discovered some bugs on the trees. The children were thrilled to observe the bug through the glass jar. We discussed the colours of the bug they had found.

Happy Holi 🎊 The festival of colours, Holi, is observed on the last full moon in the lunar month of March. Today’s celebration embodied love, colour, new beginnings, happiness and laughter. We are thankful to Miss Neetu for sharing her cultural traditions with us and bringing joy and love to our centre ⭐️🌿
Sending all our children, families and community best wishes ✨
