The wet weather Day …
We spent our day inside with lots of activities keeping us busy.The rain stopped for a little bit so we took the opportunity to get out for a little till it decided to rain again. We extended on our fairy bread with a savoury cheese rainbow toastie 🌈 . A giant print collage kept us busy as a group with lots of creative art and colours added to our recycled cardboard.

Fairy 🍞 Bread Day

November 24, 2021
Colourful sprinkles, sugary goodness and lots of laughs will span over a week, for the ultimate nostalgic feels with Fairy Bread Day on 24 November 2021, supporting the mental health of Australia's youth.

Today we celebrated Fairy bread day with some traditional activities and most of all fairy bread morning tea.
Our day began with free play while me and Miss Renee set up some activities around fairy bread. We sat as a group and had a child base discussion on how fairy bread day began and what it’s about .
We had a group activity together and decorating a guest slice of fairy bread.

First we sat together and read out the instructions on how to make our own bread
Following the instructions we learnt we applied this ourselves starting with fine motor skills spreading the butter evenly over the bread ,we lined up well manned and and turn taking to decorate our own to eat.We had so much fun all about sprinkles, fun , laughing, and team work was seen over our morning with our friends.

This little man loves playing go fish each day while at childcare. We now play this game in the afternoon with each other. Building our letter recognition with my friends and having fun 🥰

Today was our Halloween party 🎃 we had such a busy day with all the activities.

It was a wonderful morning seeing my little friends back at kindy.
Today we spent our morning inside and outside on the deck and sandpit area. We have a colour extension follow on from last week “colour recognition “
While the children were playing a sneaky hide some colour objects
For a colour hunt game .. what a hit this was we did it 3 times 🤩🤩
Hudson Axel and Thea utilised both their fine and gross motor skills as they carefully picked the objects up with tongs and fingers.
We had some paint fun on foil !!different texture and materials are great to add creativity to art .

Mr A decided it was a monster truck kind of day and Mr H was straight into it too. My children love dirt and anything that involves dirt - shaving cream - water - and wheels they are into it . We all worked together to gather the materials needed for a fun activity.

This began the monster truck rally !!
We had a whole lot of fun including a TON of dramatic play !
I could barely stop my self from taking a 100 pictures, fun part was listening to them act out play scenes. We will continue this extension experience next week thinking of ways to add monster trucks to our day !!!
