Broom, broom! 🚗✨

Playing with cars has been a big interest for our children lately. Building on this curiosity, they transformed cardboard boxes into their very own cars, bringing their ideas to life through creativity, imagination and play.

Sometimes, the simplest materials create the most exciting adventures 📦

During National Reconciliation Week, our Coral children explored mark making using Aboriginal symbols as a thoughtful prompt. 🖍️

This planned experience invited children to notice shapes, lines and meaning, while beginning gentle conversations about culture, connection and respect. 🖤💛❤️

Small marks can open the door to meaningful learning.

What a lovely experience we shared this week🌟

We joined children all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime, with QUT student, Theresa, reading Luna Roo by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton, to our Seagulls friends, with children from other rooms joining in too. 🦘📖

Miss Jolina also made sure our babies in Starfish room weren't left out, reading to them a little earlier in the day so everyone could enjoy the moment before nap time.

It's always a good day when 1st Fives Rugby comes to play! 🏉

This week we began our journal journeys, and what a beautiful start it was. ✏️

The children spent time drawing, writing and exploring their ideas on paper, showing such focus as they listened, followed directions and began to understand this new part of our literacy journey.
