Once a year the Gold Coast Chito-Ryu Karate Dojo turns into a headquarters for the Gold Coast's greatest superheros!
This special class focuses on being brave, trying your hardest and never giving in, all the secret ingredients of a true super hero. This class is open to all our members and they are welcome to invite their friends. We all know every superhero needs a great side kick.

Grading day is coming up and we’re excited to see everyone step onto the floor and give it their best effort!

Remember, grading is not just about belts — it’s about showing your improvement, your attitude, your spirit, and the hard work you’ve put into training. Prepare well, listen to your instructors, and most importantly… try your best.

Sometimes the result may be “not ready yet” — and that’s okay. That is still part of the karate journey. Facing challenges, working harder, and coming back stronger is what builds real character and resilience. Every great karateka has experienced setbacks along the way.

Be proud of how far you’ve come already, trust the process, and enjoy the journey of continual improvement.
