This situation is personal, represents an abuse of power, and does not align with proper policies and procedures. It has been handled incorrectly and reflects discrimination, which is not inclusive of our community members.

This video is about accountability. I have been ignored for too long, and that is not okay.
The politics within sporting organizations need to stop. They cannot continue to avoid accountability when their actions directly impact our young people. Youth crime is real, and banning a local youth support service for no reason is not acceptable.
We hope that NGCT, QLD Touch, and TFA will choose not to take disciplinary action regarding this video. Instead, we ask that they support a local youth service and recognize the positive impact it can have on our community, including the young people, families, and volunteers who contribute to and benefit from the sport we love. Our aim is to seek support for our community during this challenging time.
We are asking for clear answers on 9th January, and that on 12th January, when QTF and TFA return, they step in to actively support our community and stop ignoring our calls for assistance.
We are concerned about the potential impact of this situation across other clubs and within our coaching roles. While this has been unsettling, we remain hopeful that by working together constructively, we can address the issue and move forward in a positive direction.
Our commitment to this sport runs deep. HMS has made a significant positive impact on youth in our community, promoting not only the game itself but also wellbeing, health, and a strong sense of belonging. For us, this is more than a sport—it is a vital part of the Northern Gold Coast community.
