If Mondays feel exhausting, it’s probably because you’re not using your weekends the right way!

High performers don’t wait for holidays to reset and recharge. The prioritise it and build it into their weekly routines.

Here are 3 things to make sure prioritise:

1 Rest and Recovery
Both your brain and your body need real downtime, not just different things to keep busy with over the weekend.
It’s like only charging your phone to 20% and expecting it to last all week.

2 Reflection and Reset
Taking time out to go over what worked for the week, what didn’t and resetting for the coming week gives you clear direction for the upcoming week.

3. Preparation
Spending some time on the weekend planning and preparing for the week will enable you to hit the ground running on a Monday morning and set you up for the week. Planning and preparing help to eliminate unnecessary decision fatigue throughout the week.

Enjoy and get the most out of your weekends. Rest, reset and prepare. Mondays will become more productive and less chaotic!!

If your energy crashes half way through the day, it’s NOT the coffee you need!

Try these resets instead!

If your days are packed and your brain feels fried, these quick resets will give you back your focus and energy in under 10 minutes!

BREATH RESET
Try the 4-6 method (inhale 4, exhale 6)
Set a timer for 2 minutes
It’s like hitting the reset button on your nervous system!

MOVEMENT RESET
Walk around the block or do 20 body weight squats.
This boosts blood flow and increases energy and focus almost instantly!

HYDRATION RESET
Drink some water with electrolytes.
Did you know even slight dehydration can impact brain function and concentration by up to 20%!

MENTAL RESET
Write out your top 3 priorities for the afternoon.
This gives you clarity on tasks, direction for the afternoon and can increase productivity.

SENSORY RESET
Step outside, get sunlight, fresh air and breathe.
A complete reset away from the desk can improve energy, clarity and focus for the afternoon.

Try one of these resets next time you hit an afternoon slump. Sometimes it’s not about pushing through. It’s about resetting and refocusing smarter!

It’s time for a reintroduction!

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I last posted here and I’ve missed this community so much!

The past year has been an amazing season of growth. I’ve had the privilege of working as a Health & Lifestyle Coach with Santos (one of Australia’s largest mining companies).

Some highlights:

🏋️‍♀️ I designed and launched their private corporate gym

💡 I run workplace health and wellness initiatives and challenges that get teams moving together

🤝 I work 1:1 with staff and executives to reset their health, energy & wellbeing

It’s been so rewarding to bring health + lifestyle coaching into a corporate space and watch people transform their energy, focus, and confidence.

Now, I’m excited to get back to sharing with you guys here too!
I’ll be posting practical tips, inspiration, and tools to help you:

Why eat foods in season?? 🍎🍊🥬🥦

Fact - it is incredibly beneficial for your health, wallet and the environment.

*Nutritional Benefits - seasonal foods are fresher and richer in nutrients. Because they are harvested at their peak, they will contain maximum vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Far more than out of season foods!

*Improved Taste and Cost Savings - in season produce tastes better due to its freshness. Minimal shelf life maximum taste! It is also often more affordable because it is in abundant supply.

*Environmental and Local Economy Benefits - Buying seasonal foods reduces storage needs which means less refrigeration and reduced costs associated. It also supports local farmers, helping to sustain the local economy!

Start eating seasonally and enjoy all of the fresh, tasty and nutrient dense foods. Not only will you be benefiting yourself, but you will be supporting the local community and the environment 🍎🥦🥬🌽🥗

If you have any areas in your life that you are not getting what you want, it is because you haven’t raised your standards. 😣

When you raise your standards and turn that ‘should’ into ‘must’ you are making a shift in direction to take control over the quality and direction of your life.

So get clear on what you want and your direction and stop with the should do and turn it into must do!!
