1,331 stairs. 77 levels. One very proud Cherubs family. 🏙️

This morning our Nerang and Banora Point communities came together at Q1 for the SkyPoint Sea to Sky Stair Challenge, and what a morning it was.

Over 60 of us were involved. Many took on the climb, and just as many were up the top cheering them in and enjoying our morning tea thanks to SkyPoint. Educators, families, children, mums, dads and grandparents, all in the same white shirts, all in it together. 💙

Together our team raised over $4,000 for LIVIN, and the event has now raised well over $60,000 overall.

LIVIN's message is a simple one. It ain't weak to speak. Mental health touches every single family, including ours, and every stair climbed this morning was for someone.

A huge thank you to Steve, the event organiser, Dylan from SkyPoint, and to Casey and Deanna from LIVIN for everything you do.

And to our Educators and our families at Nerang and Banora Point who gave up their Sunday morning to be part of this, thank you. You are the reason this community feels the way it does. 🙌

There’s something special about an Educator with sixteen years in early childhood who still gets excited setting up her classroom. 🌟

Say hello to Miss Amy, the newest face at our Nerang centre!

Amy has spent sixteen years in early learning and her passion hasn’t faded one bit. She’s all about creating a nurturing space where children feel safe to have a go, with plenty of chances to challenge themselves, make choices and discover new things. Her classroom provocations are already a hit with our little learners.

A Northern NSW girl from Emerald Beach, Amy has called the Gold Coast home for the past seven years. When she’s not at the centre you’ll find her at the beach, at a BBQ picnic with mates, or out catching a live band somewhere.

Your child is in great hands. That part never changes 🩵🩷

Something exciting is happening at our Nerang centre. The signage is up, the bus has her new look, and we are moving towards officially becoming Cherubs Early Learning Centre.

The official launch date is Sunday 23 August at the SkyPoint Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge, and we cannot wait to celebrate it properly with our community.

Same Educators. Same warmth. Same 6am start for the families who need it. Same Lyn in the kitchen cooking fresh meals every day. Just an exciting new chapter ahead for everyone.

We are rolling over our website and socials in the coming days. Instagram is giving us a little grief but we are getting there.
