Spring is here with slightly warmer weather! Yey! Water play is set up every day nowš
Water play is more than just splashing funāitās an important part of early childhood learning. Through pouring, scooping, and experimenting with water, children develop fine motor skills, handāeye coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Water also has a calming effect, helping children regulate their emotions and engage in cooperative play with friends.
Itās a wonderful way to explore science, build social skills, and cool down while learning through play! š

Teaching children how to care for animals is crucial for their emotional and social development. It helps them cultivate empathy, compassion, and responsibility while developing an understanding of the needs of other living beings. Caring for animals also teaches patience, boosts self-esteem, and fosters a sense of connection to nature, preparing children to be kind and considerate individuals. Additionally, these skills can translate into better relationships and a greater sense of accountability in other areas of life.

Still few spots available!
Hello Beautiful Local Families,
Iām excited to announce that my family daycare is re-opening after my maternity leave, and my little one canāt wait to make some new friends!
As a fully qualified early childhood educator, Iām passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Plus, families may be eligible for government subsidies, and with limited spaces available, itās a great time to secure a spot.
A little about me: Originally from Estonia, Iāve called Australia home for the past 11 years. My journey began as an Au Pair, and I later worked as the Lead Educator at Currumbin Pines Early Learning Centre. I hold a Bachelorās degree in Early Childhood Education and have years of experience supporting childrenās development.
My nature-based family daycare is located in Elanora, near a koala sanctuary. This beautiful, natural setting provides the perfect environment for children to explore, learn, and grow. Iām committed to fostering a strong connection with nature through outdoor play, hands-on activities, and environmental awareness. Creativity, physical health, and a love for the natural world are key elements of the curriculum I offer.
Iām thrilled to begin this next chapter and look forward to welcoming local families into my home. If youāre looking for a warm, safe, and enriching space for your child, Iād love to hear from you.
Thank you for your time,
Carmelina
