The little daisies have been busy bees in the kitchen today as they have been making double batches of delicious chocolate cupcakes for tomorrows offerings for the community Harvest Festival “Lughnasadh” held at the ‘Pink Galah”.
Community connections can give children a sense of belonging and help them develop social and other skills.
Children's community connections might include extended family and friends, neighbours and people in local organisations.
We hope they taste yummy 💕🌼

Daisy’s on the Mountain had its very 1st Christmas and Graduation party, held on Friday at Syd Duncan Park.
Wow what a party, I couldn’t be prouder than I am right now of our beautiful little daisies, as they all performed so well (not easy in front of a full crowd).
What a beautiful afternoon we had, am truly blessed and my heart is so full.
Would like to thank Messy Bubs Gold Coast (Ophelia) for amazing fun Christmas themed sensory trays, we all enjoyed exploring the trays and getting messy. Lots of fun x
Also, big shout out to Ollie Twist, who attends the School of Magic, and Dan the Magic Man for all his support with Ollie for his first performance, which he nailed as he blew us all away with is tricks.
Plenty of Christmas spirt in the air as Santa stopped in too deliver a few presents to the little daisies, so thanks again Santa.
Lots of love Miss Sammi

Too cute not to share 💕😍
The little daisies had a tea party out in the garden using the mud kitchen and the guest of honor was Margery (chicken).
Margery was a lucky girl as she was getting lots of loves and cuddles from the little daisies.
The girly girls (chickens) really do bring so much happiness and joy to the little daisy's 💕😍

To Infinity and beyond ……….. the little Daisies had so much fun for space week. What a blast it has been.
It is never too early to introduce the concept of space and planets to children. Not only does it spark imagination and ignite curiosity, but it also enhances all areas of child’s development.
The little daisies enjoyed a variety of fun space-like experiences.
The little daisies were super excited that they had this whole week of exploring futuristic sensory play and making out of the world artistic creations (that included various art and craft experiences such as solar system, making super-speed rockets, aluminum foil moon rocks, twinkling star stamps and so on).
They used their fine motor and creativity skills to put it all together.

Check out the new Mud Kitchen at Daisy’s on the Mountain 💕
A mud kitchen is an outdoor play station that allows children to engage in pretend and messy play by cooking with mud, sand, and water.
Mud kitchens help children to develop fine motor skills, roleplay, exploration, and social skills. Mud kitchens are beneficial for children ages.
And the little daisies are loving it xx 😍😍
Also, the little Daisy’s took part in Pirate Day “Arr me hearties”, translated- hello my friends and we celebrated International Sign Day by learning a few more Auslan words.

What have the Little Daisies been up to?
Last week was science week, the little Daisies took part in some amazing experiment, this year’s theme for science week is Glass: More than meets the eye.
We did touch on this, but we also explored some other exciting experiments.
Digging for Dinosaurs, making a volcano and watching erupt, Rainbow Rain clouds, the Magic Milk experiment, Fireworks in a Jar, Dancing Sultans and ……… Slime
Science is often, simple and fun.
but sometimes things don’t always go to plan, which happened with our slime recipe, oh no!
That was okay as we tried again, and we were successful. (Hooray)
Introducing children to science at a young age assists in their brain development, Science learning at any age involves curiosity, exploration, and discovery.
Fun times
Miss Sammi x
Ps Next week is Book Week, the little Daisies will be parading round Loop/ Beechmont Road. Please wave or give them a toot to show them your support x
