Step to Prep

We are almost half way through the term 🙌🙌 and our Mighty Monkeys are really starting to demonstrate growth in all areas of learning.

What do we get up to?
We are busy busy in these classes trying to master basic skills that develop our fine motor skills, concentration skills as well as early literacy and numeracy skills.

What is the age group for this class?
4-5years - ideal for children beginning school in 2021.

We still have some availability in these classes and would love to offer new students a free trial.

Not only do we improve our own personal skills in our Step to Prep classes, we also learn, grow and develop our socialisation skills. Social and emotional needs are absolutely fundamental for this age group. Our small group classes allow children to interact with others, take turns, share and understand that everyone is different.
We participate in group activities, play games and read books to develop a better understanding of how relationships with each other work.
Working together works and most importantly it keeps life positive....an important lesson in life.

Everything takes time ❤️
Learning takes time to develop important early learning skills. We cannot simply expect our children to correctly use scissors or correct pencil grip. We need to explicitly teach these skills.
