Our final week of LSA for the term! 🏅✨
We wrapped things up with a big Olympics-style session filled with races, challenges and plenty of laughs. ⏱️🔥
Teams went head-to-head and against the clock to complete a range of fun activities, from quick-thinking puzzles to high-energy relays! 🧩🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

We loved seeing everyone put their teamwork skills, problem-solving, communication and encouragement into action. 🤝🧠💛
Such an awesome way to finish the term — proud of every single one of them! 🙌🌟

We’re wrapping up the year with two awesome hands-on sessions just for our homeschool community at The Meeting Place (Oxenford) — and they’re completely FREE.

👕 Tie-Dye Workshop – 10 November
A colourful, creative session where everyone gets to design and take home their own tie-dyed creation.

🏁 Amazing Race – 1 December
A fast-paced challenge with “minute-to-win-it” style stations that encourage teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of laughs.

FREE Barista Bootcamp Level 1 (introductory workshop)
We have two programs coming up NEXT weekend.
This program is a great way for young people to get a feel for what it is like working in a cafe. It is also perfect for building capacity and confidence while looking for that first job.
Our amazing facilitator Belinda is a top level professional who has judged barista competitions at a national level in South Africa. She is incredible with the young people.

Week 4 marked the grand finale of Term 3 at LSA ✨🧵 This time, we took our cross stitch skills to the next level with sewing! From threading challenges to tricky stitches, we powered through with perseverance 💪 and problem-solving 🧠. The best part? Starting our very own pencil cases 🎒—skills we can carry on and finish at home!

At LSA, we’re all about building life skills that can be used again and again in everyday life 🙌.

We can’t wait to see what Term 4 brings 🎉💙

Week three at LSA was all about cross stitch & embroidery 🧵✨ We learnt how to thread needles, prep our stitches, and even read patterns like pros 👩‍🎨. This session was a chance to slow down, get creative, and enjoy some calm in the middle of the term 💙.



Only one more week of Term 3 left—we can’t wait to share all the fun with you soon! 🎉

Week two at LSA = brownie time 🍫👩‍🍳✨ We learnt all about kitchen safety 🧤, how to measure and weigh ingredients ⚖️, and picked up some simple baking tips along the way. The best part? Having heaps of fun AND getting to enjoy our sweet masterpieces at the end 😋🎉

We can’t wait to share what we get up to in week three!

Here at LSA, we’ve been sooo busy this term 🎉
In week one we hit the kitchen 👩‍🍳🥐 making sausage rolls with our own creative mix-ins ✨🥓🧀. Safe to say… we all had LOTS of fun (I mean learnt lots 😉)!
