This week the Christian Education National - CEN network is praying for us - in particular the fundraising efforts we're launching to get Clean Power to the 2027 H2GP Pro World Final! More to come, but your prayers are appreciated 🙏

🎉 In 2026, Christian Education National is celebrating our 60th year! 🙏 Each week we pray for our schools.

This week we are praying for Rivergum Christian College in SA, who are excited for students who recently gained a place in International Finals of the Hydrogen Grand Prix to be held in Prague in 2027. Congratulations and praise God for this amazing opportunity and we pray with the whole community as they undertake a fundraising venture to pay for the trip in June.

Come along to our FREE Family Movie Night next Friday! We're screening a great family flick - GOAT - and selling all sorts of goodies (or BYO).

We'll have popcorn, soft drinks, chips, chocolate bars and lollies along with hot barista coffee/tea for the adults. 🍿🥤🍫🍬☕️

Wear something warm, bring something comfy to sit/lay on and invite your neighbours along! Let's make this a great start to spring.

🎈 RED DAY isn't far away! 🎈

Wheelchair Sports is back in Week 8, and our annual Red Day fundraising for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is locked in for Thursday 10 September.

Come along between 1 and 2pm to meet some SA Powerchair Hockey champions and perhaps take part in a scratch match or enter our 'Beat the Pro Goalie' comp for a gold coin donation.

Let's paint the town red by wearing red, eating red and raising money for a red-iculously good cause! ♿🏒

🗣 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝑷𝑺𝑴𝑭 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 🎤

Congratulations to Primary Captain Anareta and Vice-Captain Sarah who were soloists in last week's Cluster C performance of the Riverland Primary Schools' Music Festival. Thursday night's performance at the Chaffey Theatre featured our entire talented Years 5 & 6 class alongside four other schools. Well done! 👏

We're proud of all of you for dedicating many hours to practising and staging a fabulous performance. Anareta and Sarah are 'old hats' now, featuring last year as well.

You may also recognise the conductor - our very own illustrious leader Mrs Burgemeister. Capable, devoted and incredibly skilled herself, Mrs Burgy is a wonderful role model and we are so grateful for her leadership both at Rivergum and on the RPSMF committee.

Riverland Primary Schools' Music Festival

🎬 Drumroll please... our Family Movie Night next week will be screening GOAT! 🐐

Released only a few months ago, GOAT is an animated sports comedy about a small goat with big dreams of playing professional roarball, a high-intensity, full-contact sport usually dominated by massive, fierce animals. Which this goat is not. And according to his heroes, "small can't ball."

Bring your blankets, chairs, beanbags - whatever you'll be comfortable in for 100 minutes - and get ready to eat your weight in popcorn and learn about a sport you've never heard of, played by animals doing human things, in a place you can only imagine!

🌟 PHENOMENAL ACHIEVEMENT ALERT 🌟
Our Clean Power girl's H2GP hydrogen car team last week won the 'Girls in STEM' Award at the Victorian championship AND in doing so secured a spot in the 2027 H2GP Pro World Final!

Kelera, Jessica, Amelia and Lilly will travel to a yet-unconfirmed location to compete against other world final qualifiers from - you guessed it - around the world (not just Australia!).

This is absolutely huge for the girls, their families, our school and the Riverland as we celebrate their ingenuity, commitment and skill on a global stage. Congratulations, Clean Power - you're amazing!
