On Wednesday, we celebrated Book Week at Kangaloon Public School, and our students had a fantastic day! 📖
There were plenty of smiles, imagination and a love of books on display. It was wonderful to see our students getting into the spirit of Book Week and celebrating the magic of reading together.📚

Today we participated in Jersey Day, helping to raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation and the incredible gift of life that donation can provide 🩵💚
As part of our day, our students painted beautiful pebbles to be placed in our Outdoor Learning Space. 🪨🌿 Our rocks symbolise kindness, generosity, hope and the gift of giving to others.
It was a lovely opportunity to talk with our students about how one act of generosity can make such a lasting difference to another person and their family.

This week we celebrate our wonderful School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) and the incredible contribution they make to our school community every single day.
From keeping everything organised behind the scenes, supporting our students and teachers, welcoming families, solving the little (and sometimes big!) problems, and making sure our school runs smoothly, our SASS staff are an essential part of the Glenquarry family. 🌿
We are incredibly lucky to have such caring, dedicated and hardworking people who go above and beyond for our students and our school.
