Learning happens inside and outside our classrooms.

We have had a big week of joy and excursions where our teachers have taken their science inquiry learning to places where our students can deepen their understanding and connect in authentic ways to their learning.

We saw confident, capable and connected classes come back bubbling with excitement.
A huge thank you to our courageous staff as it is a big undertaking ensuring safety and engagement outside of the school grounds.

In the words of our B Kinder Ambassadors!

โ€œWe are all different and we celebrate difference at Glenorchy Primary School.โ€

โ€œWe are kind to each other.โ€

โ€œWear purple day is about having courage and standing up for people if other people are being mean.โ€

Our B kinder ambassadors held a stall in the office with bracelets and stickers to give away for any students interested in knowing more about Wear Purple day. We loved hearing our students talk about our values and being courageous to stand up for safety and kindness.

The Glenorchy Way promotes a school where everyone belongs and feels safe. We celebrate our diverse and connected community! We saw this in action today and couldnโ€™t be prouder of the curiosity, connection and courage our children show.
